I don’t know about you guys but my boys go through loaves of bread like nobody’s business. However, of course don’t eat the ends. I save them up and throw them into the Thermo at the end of each week and make bread crumbs. I then pop them into zip lock bags and freeze them. Nothing beats homemade breadcrumbs. All it takes is 30 seconds on speed 6.5 for beautiful fine breadcrumbs!

What a great tip!

Give you Thermomix a little spa treatment with this easy gentle exfoliation using eggshells. Save your egg shells and when you have about 6-8 shells add them to your Thermomix bowl and mill on speed 10 for 10-20 seconds. The shells create a lovely gentle clean for your bowl and blades. 🥚🥚🥚

Had the family chicken galette last night from the “3 cheers for chicken” cookbook. It really is amazing and the smell as you are caramelising the onion, bacon and garlic with brown sugar and balsamic vinegar is 🤤🤤🤤.

Last nights dinner with two of my favourites mixed mushroom risotto, garlic and herb pull apart and a rocket and Parmesan salad. Delicious, even if I do say so myself! 🤫

For the second time in 1 week, Charlie has been bitten by a European wasp. The photo on the left was from the first time, I didn’t know what had bitten him or how to treat it. I did some research into insect stings and when he got stung today (I saw it happen this time) and let me tell you they are nasty, they just keep hammering themselves into you creating a huge hole. His angle looked immediately like his foot on the left red, swollen, hot and itchy I used the above oils diluted in FCO and this was the immediate response. I’ll be making this little gem into a roller and popping it into my medical kit!

Does anyone else get annoyed buying buttermilk for the basic banana bread when you only use 100g? Did you know you can make your own? 1 cup of whole milk and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and just like Magic you have your own and not as much wastage and much cheaper than buying buttermilk! I have non-diary and vegan options too if you want them!
