TLC provides support to NDIS eligible people with intellectual, physical, sensory, cognitive and psychosocial disability in the Latrobe Valley and greater Gippsland areas. We aim to improve the quality of life for people with a disability through the provision of a broad range of supports and the engagement with other community services. Each participant is carefully paired with a worker that is right for them, that they feel comfortable with and that they can trust to help with their particular needs. We are a local team, with strong family values and a drive to help our participants to feel empowered to live their best life possible. We offer capacity building support, peer support, NDIS support, mental health support and recovery coaching, assistance with everyday living, assistance with basic budgeting, garden maintenance, cleaning services, as well as a plethora of other services. Some of life’s best lessons are learnt through trial and error. You’ve gotta try stuff and decide what works best for you.

This is something our community members often struggle with when they first come to us. They’re afraid of making mistakes and they hold back on trying new things.

The lovely TLC staff are trained in providing trauma informed support so that they can be there to empower our community through trial and error.

The result is a confident community who are out there giving stuff a go. You’ll see our members in the gym, at parks, horseback riding and diving into pools. And you’ll see their TLC support workers there cheering them on.

Meet Kev! If you go out looking for Kev during his shifts you will find him getting amongst whatever activity the client really enjoys. He has been spotted bowling, swimming, shopping and playing chase with the youth.

It’s no surprise that Kev is one of our most popular support workers!

Kev specialises in supporting individuals with neurodiversity and we are blessed that he has chosen to be a part of our TLC community.
