What a warm, beautiful day it is today! 🌤️

One of those days where the sun just hits different, the air feels lighter, and everything slows down just a little.

So tell us… what are you up to today? 👀
Are you soaking up the sunshine outside, heading to the beach, going for a walk, having a BBQ, chasing the kids around the backyard, or just enjoying a quiet moment with a cold drink in hand? 🍹🌳

Maybe it’s a day for doing absolutely nothing, and honestly, we love that for you too.

Days like this are a gentle reminder to pause, breathe, and take in the little things. To check in with yourself, check in with your mates, and enjoy being present right here, right now. 💭✨

Even a few minutes in the sun can do wonders for the mind and soul.
Drop a comment below and let us know how you’re spending this beautiful day 👇

Photos welcome, stories encouraged, good vibes only 😌💛
And if you’re having a tough day, that’s okay too, you’re not alone, and we’re always here.

Enjoy the sunshine, look after yourselves, and make the most of today 🌞💜

Today I went and visited my grandfather’s gravestone, and it really got me thinking.

When someone we love passes, what do we do after to keep their life memorable?

Is it about visiting often, or is it about carrying them with us in our everyday lives?
Should we feel pressure to go all the time, or is one quiet visit when your heart needs it enough?

It also made me wonder… who should be the one to clean and decorate a grave? One person? Everyone? Or no one at all if that’s not how we choose to remember them?

Standing there, I realised remembrance doesn’t look the same for everyone. Some people show love through flowers and visits, others through stories, laughter, traditions, or simply living in a way that would make them proud.

It also made me think about my own life and, one day, my own passing. What would I want?
I’m pretty sure I’d rather be cremated, not because I don’t matter, but because I don’t want my family to ever feel obligated. I want them to remember me freely, not out of duty.

It also made me reflect on GCS and the legacy we’re building together. We hope that GCS leaves behind something meaningful, a legacy of kindness, support, and real change, and that it continues helping our community and the people in it for many years to come, even long after we’re gone.

Maybe it’s not about places or rituals at all. Maybe it’s about the impact we leave behind and the love that continues long after we’re gone.

There’s no right or wrong way to grieve, remember, or honour someone.

Just do what feels true to your heart 💙
What does remembering a loved one look like to you?

As we step into 2026, our hearts carry a mix of emotions.

Today, we remember those who didn’t make it here with us. The lives lost, the voices silenced too soon, the people who should still be here. They are not forgotten. Their stories matter. Their lives mattered. We carry them with us every single day.

At the same time, we are so deeply proud of those who did make it to 2026, especially those who are still fighting silent battles. Just because you’re still standing doesn’t mean the fight is over, and it doesn’t mean it’s been easy. Surviving takes strength, even on the days you feel exhausted, broken, or lost.

To anyone still battling their demons: you are not weak. You are not a burden. You are not alone.
We are here. We see you. We support you. Whether you need a conversation, a message, a walk beside you, or simply someone to sit in the silence, our community stands with you.

Let’s honour those we’ve lost by continuing to show up for the living. By checking in, by being kind, by reminding people that help is always within reach.

Together, we keep going.
Together, we remember.
Together, we support. 💙

What’s everyone getting up to on this beautiful weekend? ☀️

We’d love to hear how you’re spending your time, whether you’re out and about, catching up with family, or just taking a well-earned breather.

We’re on the move today picking up our new heat press for our upcoming merch, a big step forward and something we’re really excited about as it helps us keep growing and reaching more people in our community. After that, we’ll be stopping in to see Bryce’s Nan for a visit and then picking up his son to spend a few weeks with us. These moments of connection, family, and slowing down together mean more than we can put into words 🫶

Weekends can be a mixed bag for many people. For some, they bring joy, family time, and rest. For others, they can feel quiet, lonely, or even overwhelming. That’s why it’s so important to keep talking about mental health and su***de prevention, not just when things are hard, but every day. Real conversations, genuine check-ins, and simply being present for someone can make a life-changing difference.

If you’re struggling this weekend, please know you don’t have to carry it alone. Reaching out is a sign of strength, not weakness. And if you notice someone around you pulling back or going quiet, take a moment to check in, you never know how much that small act could mean 🤍

Drop a comment below and tell us what you’re up to this weekend 👇
We’re always here, and we’re stronger when we stand together.

What’s everyone up to for New Year’s? 🎆✨

Are you heading out to celebrate, having a quiet night in, spending it with family and friends, or just taking time for yourself? However you’re bringing in the new year, we’d love to hear what your plans are 🤍

As we celebrate, let’s also remember to stay safe, look after each other, drink responsibly if you’re drinking, and check in on those around you. New Year’s can be a really mixed time for mental health, so please be gentle with yourself. It’s okay to say no, to leave early, or to spend the night somewhere you feel calm and supported.

Your mental health matters just as much as the countdown. If tonight feels hard, you’re not alone, reach out, message someone you trust, or take a moment to breathe and ground yourself.

Here’s to a new year filled with connection, compassion, and looking out for one another 🫶

Tell us below, how are you spending New Year’s? 🎉

Su***de Prevention Starts With Us – Together as a community.

Su***de is not something to be ashamed of.
Not if you’ve experienced suicidal thoughts.
Not if you’ve attempted.
And not if you’ve lost someone you love to su***de.

Shame keeps people silent, and silence is where pain grows.

Suicidal ideation doesn’t come from one single cause. It can be brought on by grief, trauma, abuse, financial stress, relationship breakdowns, illness, isolation, burnout, addiction, or feeling like a burden or that things will never change. Sometimes it’s obvious. Other times it’s completely hidden behind smiles and “I’m okay”.

Su***de is also not the “easy way out,” no matter how often people say that. There is nothing easy about living in constant emotional pain, feeling trapped, or believing the world would be better without you. People who reach that point aren’t weak, they are often exhausted, overwhelmed, and hurting more than words can explain.

As a community, we can do better, and we can do more.

🧡 Check in, ask “How are you really?” and mean it
🧡 Listen without judgement, you don’t need to fix it, just be there
🧡 Show up consistently, loneliness can be deadly
🧡 Talk openly, su***de is not a taboo topic, silence is far more dangerous
🧡 Remind people they matter, even when they can’t believe it themselves

You don’t need perfect words. You just need compassion.

And if you are struggling: you are not broken, weak, or a burden. You deserve support, care, and understanding, just like anyone else.

Together, we can build a community where no one feels invisible, unheard, or alone.
Together, we can save lives.

If you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out, help is always available 🤍

Together we are building something powerful, a safe, supportive, and connected community where no one feels alone. Every conversation, every act of kindness, every bit of support makes a difference.

This is only the beginning.
Together, we are stronger. Together, we create change.

We’re finally home and soaking up the sunshine while unpacking bags, washing clothes, and slowly getting back into the swing of things ☀️🧺

We absolutely loved our time away, the memories made, the family time, and the chance to reset meant more than we can put into words. But as much as we enjoyed the break, our hearts are always with our community ❤️

After New Year’s, it’s straight back into community work and doing what we do best, supporting, showing up, and walking alongside those who need it most.

✨ Looking ahead to the New Year:
You’ll start seeing myself and Mary walking through town, creating conversations, checking in with people, and running fundraisers to help us continue and grow the work we do. Sometimes it’s the simple conversations that make the biggest difference.

📣 Important update:
Our outreach will be in mobile mode until the 2nd of January. If you or someone you know needs help during this time, please send us a message. We will deliver food and items and do our best to support you where we can.

Thank you for being part of this journey with us. Here’s to a new year filled with connection, care, and community 💙

We’re nearly near Canberra now and while the roads have definitely kept things interesting (soooo many roadworks… 😅), the vibe in the car has shifted. We’re tired, happy, grateful and very much ready to be home.

Long drives give you a lot of time to think. For us, it’s been a reminder that while life keeps moving, so many people are quietly carrying heavy loads. Mental health doesn’t take a holiday, and neither does the need for connection, compassion and su***de prevention.

If you’re struggling right now, please know you’re not alone. Reach out, speak up, check in on your mates, those small moments can genuinely save lives 🤍

As we head into 2026, our hearts are full and our vision is clear.
Here’s what we’re working towards next year:

✨ Our 2026 Goals
• Walks through towns
• Community events
• Fundraisers
• New programs
• Special guests
• New merchandise

Everything we do is for community, with community.
If you’d like to support us and help make these goals a reality, donations are always appreciated and go straight back into supporting those who need it most.
