Tonight we had the absolute honour of being part of the cruise for Jayy, and we want to say a massive thank you to MCS for allowing us to come along and show our support. 💙

It was incredible to see the community come together for such an important cause and to honour Jayy’s memory the way he deserves.

We’ve got MCS stickers available, with 100% of proceeds going directly to Jayy’s family, and we’ll also be donating a portion of all our own merch sales to help support them during this time.

Let’s continue to stand together, support one another, and keep Jayy’s legacy alive. 💫

We know so many of you are excited about our proposed youth skate event, and honestly, so are we! 🛹

At the moment, we are still working through all the logistics behind the scenes to make sure everything is organised properly and the event is safe, fun, and worthwhile for everyone involved.

We appreciate your patience while we get all the details sorted. As soon as everything is confirmed, we will post the official event announcement with all the information you need.

Stay tuned, we can’t wait to bring this exciting event to our community!

Su***de is an epidemic that is hitting far too close to home, and here at GCS – Raising Awareness One Drive at a Time Inc., it is something every one of our volunteers feels deeply. Many of us have been personally affected by the heartbreaking loss of loved ones, friends, and community members.
Behind every statistic is a real person, a family shattered, and a ripple effect of pain that never truly disappears.
Too many lives are being lost, and something needs to change.

We can all play a part in helping reduce the number of people we lose:
• Check in on your family, friends, and mates regularly, even a simple “Are you okay?” can make a difference.
• Listen without judgment when someone opens up. Sometimes being heard is the first step toward healing.
• Encourage people to seek professional support when they are struggling.
• Learn the warning signs and educate yourself on su***de prevention.
• Be kind, because you never truly know what battles someone is facing behind closed doors.

Mental health struggles do not discriminate, and no one should ever feel alone in their pain. Together, as a community, we can break the stigma, start conversations, and create safe spaces where people feel supported enough to reach out before it is too late.

If you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out. Help is available, and your life matters.

While this may be intended as a positive initiative, it does not truly reflect the harsh realities faced by people experiencing homelessness. They are not sleeping rough in the way many homeless individuals are forced to, nor are they facing the daily struggles and trauma that come with it. Many homeless people we have spoken with feel this is deeply hurtful, as it can give the false impression that homelessness is not as severe or devastating as it really is.

We applaud what they are doing and why. Its an amazing initiative, some of our people we support just feel its hurtful which we can understand as well.

We’re incredibly excited to share that GCS – Raising Awareness One Drive at a Time Inc. has officially partnered with Thread Together 💙

This partnership means so much to us and the people we support.

Thread Together is an amazing organisation that provides brand new clothing to people in need, completely free of charge. They work with those experiencing homelessness, hardship, domestic violence, and other challenges, helping restore dignity, confidence, and a sense of self through something as simple (yet powerful) as new clothes.

Through this partnership, we’ll be able to expand the support we offer within our community, ensuring that not only are people receiving food and essential items, but also access to fresh, quality clothing when they need it most.

This is a huge step forward for us, and we’re so grateful to be working alongside such an impactful organisation 🙌

Together, we’re making a difference, one drive, one conversation, and now one outfit at a time 💙

We’re excited to announce that GCS – Raising Awareness One Drive at a Time Inc. will be attending the Traralgon Volunteer Expo on May 23rd 💙

This event is all about bringing the community together and showcasing the incredible organisations, groups, and individuals who are making a real difference. It’s a chance to connect, learn more about local services, and discover ways you can get involved in supporting others.

We’ll be there sharing what we do, raising awareness around mental health, and talking about how you can be part of the change. Whether you’re looking to volunteer, need support, or just want to come say hello – we’d love to meet you.

Come down, have a chat, and be part of something bigger 🙌

We’ve got some exciting news! 🙌

GCS – Raising Awareness One Drive at a Time Inc is now officially on GoFundraise! 💙

This is a huge step forward for us and what we’re working towards in the community. Being on GoFundraise means it’s now easier than ever for our supporters to get behind what we do, whether that’s through donations, sharing our page, or even creating your own fundraisers to support our cause.

Every dollar raised goes directly towards helping us continue our mission, supporting those doing it tough, raising awareness around mental health, and making a real difference where it’s needed most.

If you’ve ever wanted to support us, now’s the perfect time 💪

Thank you to everyone who continues to stand beside us — we couldn’t do this without you ❤️

Good job, mental health needs to be addressed!!!

Papa Roach frontman Jacoby Shaddix is continuing to break the stigma — one honest conversation at a time. 🗣️

In a new interview with Australia's Heavy, Shaddix opened up about his own battles with addiction, depression, and suicidal thoughts. His message? Growth comes from turning darkness into something positive and passing that perspective on to those who need it most. ➡️

Healing isn’t just personal. It’s about helping others through shared experience. By speaking out, Jacoby reminds fans that they’re not alone — and that it’s okay to struggle, as long as you keep fighting.

At GCS, we want to highlight the amazing work of Youth Live4Life.

They’re a youth-led mental health and su***de prevention program focused on building stronger, more connected communities, especially in regional areas.

One of the biggest things they offer is affordable training courses, including Youth Mental Health First Aid.
These courses give everyday people the skills to recognise when someone’s struggling, have real conversations, and step in when it matters most.

These aren’t just courses, they’re life-saving skills.
Even better, many of their programs are low-cost or subsidised, making them accessible to more people in our community.

If you get the chance to take part, do it. You never know whose life you might help save.
