We’ve been generously donated this Mazda 3, and we’re auctioning it off to raise funds for our vital mental health and su***de prevention initiatives—supporting the community through car culture and connection.

GCS – Raising Awareness One Drive at a Time INC is a not-for-profit organisation using car culture and community events to raise awareness around mental health, situational distress, and su***de prevention. We create safe, welcoming spaces where people can connect, feel supported, and know they’re not alone.

We’re currently organising a number of upcoming community events and fundraisers, and we’re putting together a raffle to help raise much-needed funds to continue our mission. We will also be holding a online raffles for those who cant make it to our events.

🎁 HOW YOU CAN HELP:
We’re reaching out to generous businesses and individuals who might be willing to donate a raffle prize. This could be:

✅ Gift vouchers
✅ Merchandise
✅ Hampers or gift packs
✅ Services (haircuts, massages, detailing, etc.)
✅ Experiences (dining, activities, tickets)
✅ Anything fun, useful or meaningful!

All funds raised through our raffles go directly back into supporting our charity’s events, outreach programs, crisis support, and free resources for those experiencing distress or struggling with mental health.

We’re excited to announce that GCS – Raising Awareness One Drive at a Time Inc is currently awaiting final approval to become a registered charity partner with the Victorian Container Deposit Scheme (CDS Vic)! 🙌

This means that very soon, you’ll be able to donate your 10c recyclables (like eligible bottles and cans) to help us continue raising awareness for:
🧠 Mental Health
💔 Situational Distress
🕊️ Su***de Prevention

Every bottle or can you return could help us run events, provide support packs, and continue driving hope into our community one car meet at a time. 🚘💬

What an amazing day out at Gippsland Motorplex/bairnsdale Dragway

We had a fantastic time raising awareness and funds to support those in need, watching the burnouts, and even speaking with the team about hosting future events at the venue.

A massive thank you to Geneva Starkey for your incredible support, for allowing us to set up our gazebo, and for helping us spread awareness in the car community. Your kind words and encouragement meant the world to us.

The Statesman is more than just a car.
It brings smiles to faces, not just ours, but everyone who sees it. The words written on it speak volumes. They raise awareness, spark conversations, and offer hope.

Why did we start this charity?

Because we’ve lived it. We've lost friends and loved ones to mental health battles and seen the damage that relentless bullying and distress can cause. Watching others, especially young people, go through the same pain we once did made it clear: we had to do something.

It’s not always easy. Some days are heavier than others. But we keep going — for those who can’t, for those who are struggling, and for those who just need a little hope.
