The Easter Long Weekend is just around the corner 🐣

We will be closed for four days, from Friday, April 3rd to Monday, April 6th. We will reopen on Tuesday, April 7th at 9 AM.

If you need any medication, first aid supplies, cold and flu relief, or anything to help you through the long weekend, be sure to stop by this week.

Today is Thank Your Pharmacist Day 💚

I would love to take a moment to thank our incredible team of pharmacists who keep Molong Pharmacy running smoothly every single day. I am so grateful for everything you do for our community.

This year's theme is "wherever medicines are" and that is exactly where you will find us. Right here in Molong, for our community, every single day.

We love helping our community and we love providing the services and care that keep the people of Molong and the Cabonne region healthy and well.

Yesterday we had the pleasure of being part of the Cabonne Seniors Expo right here in Molong.

Dennis and I were both there representing Molong Pharmacy, and it was so lovely to get out from behind the dispensary counter and spend time with our community face to face and let people know how their pharmacy can help them.

We had some good chats about MedsChecks, medication packs, vaccinations, and it was wonderful connecting with the other organisations, supporting people across Cabonne.

**ALL SESSIONS TOMORROW ARE FILLED - THANKYOU***

We're looking for piercing models this Friday!

We're upskilling our team in nose piercing, and to do that we need some willing models. As a thank you for helping us out, we're offering the session at a reduced rate.

All piercings will be supervised and carried out in a safe, professional environment here at Molong Pharmacy.

Who can be a model?
Adults 18+
Ages 16–17 with a parent or guardian present to provide consent (consent forms available on the day)

Sessions will be running this Friday morning. Spots are limited so please get in touch soon if you're interested.

Sometimes, a letter arrives in the mail (not often enough) and genuinely warms your heart.

Last year a lovely lady named Nancy Campbell (nee Alexander) came into Molong Pharmacy. She told us she had worked here, back in the 1960's. We had the most wonderful conversation about what the pharmacy looked like (most importantly where the old toilet was!), who worked here and what life in Molong was like back then.

A little while later, Nancy sent us these photographs and a handwritten letter.

In her letter Nancy recalls working at the pharmacy around 1960 with Colin Powell as the owner, alongside Loretta Ryan, Helen Stafford, Barbara Dean, Gwen and Nancy Phillpot and Jan McVeagh. She signed off with "do hope you can read all my jumble, getting too old" ❤️

Nancy, if you see this (I think you will, you were all in for a facebook selfie) thankyou for writing to us and giving us a small snippet of what the pharmacy has been over the years.

Molong Pharmacy has been part of this community since the 1850s. These photos are a reminder of why that matters, alot has changed over the years, but why we are here has never changed. To take care of our community.
