Mastering your mindset is one of the most impactful ways you can improve the quality of your life, regardless of what life is throwing at you.

Recalibrating the way you perceive yourself, others, your life experiences isn't always going to be an easy task, at first it takes some creative work! Like anything, it's a practice and the more you do it, the easier it gets and then life gets better as a result.

You can start to accept what is, open your mind and body to new possibilities and opportunities, change what is within your control and allow life to show up for you and guide you to beautiful places.

This is such a big part of the work that I do with clients and watching the transformational shifts is something I'll be forever grateful for.

The head f that is infertility…

Who’s with me here?

🤯 You’ve been perfectly monitoring your cycles, eating right, taking the supps, doing the acupuncture, only doing gentle exercise, haven’t had an alcoholic drink in months, saying no to social drinks & nights out & doing everything BY.THE.BOOK…

But perfect isn’t working & you’re frustrated & confused.

So you decide to flip the script & ‘trick’ your mind & body into that ‘surrender’ zone that they talk about. You let your hair down, with the intention of having drunk s*x hoping it’s the key.

Then when you get your period you go into a total shame spiral & blame yourself for throwing the months of hard work out the window & convince yourself the reason you didn’t fall pregnant is because of the booze & now you’re back even further.

I remember doing this at a friends Halloween party back in 2009 and I remember the hard downfall too.

I see you, I feel you, this is hard & you’re not alone.

You’re safe here.

I truly hope that this far, your break has been peaceful and positive 🫶🏼

I’ll be taking a week off with my family to make the most of our time together (it doesn’t happen often enough). I’ll be back on board in the clinic on the Monday 13th Jan 💕

I know that you so deeply wanted to be sharing happy news of a baby on the way with family this Christmas. Oh how my heart aches as I remember those years of not being able to create extra Christmas cheer and feel content at Christmas.

So I want you to know if this is where you’re at right now, it is soooo normal and you are not alone.

> You haven’t been forgotten about - you’re future is bright. Let me hold that for you, if you can’t see that yourself yet.
> There is nothing that you have done to deserve what you are going through. This isn’t karma for some past debt due.
> You’re not broken or damaged

And I know there isn’t much I can do or say to take away the pain right now.

I just want you to know that you are safe here, exactly as you are. Feeling all the feels.

I soooooo get it!  I’ve been exactly where you’re at scrolling through online support groups looking for the missing puzzle piece that will answer your prayers. But the truth, you’re not likely to find it there.
 
In fact the answers are already within you.
 
The key?
 
✨ To fully accept where you are in this now moment
✨ To let go of the anxious & fearful stories you’ve been telling yourself & in turn reduce the fertility overwhelm and burn out
✨ And foster a sense of peace and trust, that what is meant for you is coming to you in divine timing.
To allow it to happen, rather than forcing it.
 
And yeah, that might seem f*cking impossible right now, but… that’s what I’m all about.
 
If you’re ready and willing, I’m here for it.
 
You are safe here.

For the last few weeks, many of my private support sessions with clients have been focused around navigating the holiday period whilst experiencing fertility challenges.   
It’s a really tough time with so many reminders and triggers ~ the feeling in your heart can be heavy to hold.

A few weeks ago, I wrote a blog post all about the topic on behalf of Northern Beaches Integrative Practitioners (the clinic I work out of) and I thought I’d turn it into a carousel post for you all.

 
Planning ahead and making this season YOURS can be really freeing.

For decades I struggled with working myself to the ground, burning the candle at both ends, trying to have it all; constantly hustling for financial independence, proving my intelligence & my worth to others, unable to say no, people pleasing at the cost of my mental and physical health. Always busy busy busy! ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​I remember the mental exhaustion like it was yesterday. I had no idea that the toxic self-talk, beliefs and behaviours were keeping me stuck further away from what I desired the most... peace and contentment.

This quote has stuck with me since the wonderful Carma said it to me many years ago. It sits at my desk as a reminder of my focus to nourish myself first.

It so beautifully describes this era of my life and I hope it inspires something inside of you to do the same
