New school year, new opportunities. 📚✨Here’s a few tips to help prep you for the school year:
1. Backpack 🎒
Opt for backpacks with padded shoulder straps, lumbar support, and multiple compartments
Keep the weight under 10% of the child’s body weight
Wear both straps
2. Posture🦴
Sit upright with feet flat on the floor, knees at 90 degrees, and shoulders relaxed
Avoid slouching or leaning forward, especially during long periods at a desk or while using devices
3. Screentime 💻
Prolonged screen use can lead to “tech neck” and poor spinal alignment
Set up ergonomic study spaces at home with screens at eye level and supportive chairs
4. Movement 🏃
Encourage frequent breaks every 30–45 minutes
Incorporate daily stretching routines
Encourage active play, walking to school, or sports to strengthen core and back muscles
