For single women, starting a family is absolutely possible, you have options ✨

The two main fertility treatment options are IUI (Intrauterine Insemination) and IVF (In Vitro Fertilisation). With IUI, prepared s***m is placed directly into the uterus at the right time in your cycle. With IVF, eggs are collected, fertilised in the lab to form embryos that are then transferred to the uterus.

Depending on your circumstances, donor s***m, donor eggs or donor embryos may also be part of the journey. The most important thing? It’s the age of the egg and s***m that matters, not just your age. You’re in charge of the journey, and we’re here to support your every step.

As Dr Mei Cheah says: ‘Nike. Just do it.’ 💪 (but not really 😅) Listen to Dr Mei and Dr Tom unpack the psyche of fertility testing and preservation.

Did you know some everyday perfumes contain chemicals that may interfere with the hormones that support fertility? 🌸

The science is still evolving, but many fertility specialists recommend keeping synthetic fragrances to a minimum, especially if you’re planning for pregnancy 🙌

How can you predict your ovulation day? By knowing the average length of your cycle, if regular 💫

Your fertile window (the four to five days leading up to ovulation) will shift depending on the length of your cycle. In shorter cycles, ovulation happens earlier. In longer cycles, it usually happens a few days later.

The easiest way to understand when you might ovulate is by knowing your average cycle length. If your cycles are irregular, it can be harder to predict. That’s when tracking signs like basal body temperature (BBT) cervical mucus changes, as well as using ovulation predictor kits (LH surge kits) can help you get a clearer picture of when you’re most fertile.

When you’re trying to conceive, it’s easy to assume IVF is the next step. But fertility care isn’t one-size-fits-all. The key? Understanding your unique fertility picture. Here’s why:

💫 Many people conceive with lower-intervention options like ovulation induction or IUI
💫 A basic fertility workup, think hormone tests, ultrasound, semen analysis, can guide next steps
💫 A personalised plan means fewer delays, better outcomes and support that actually fits your needs

Our team believes the best fertility treatment is the one that’s right for you 💜
