✨WEEK 9 OF 10 WEEKS OF YOGA PHILOSOPHY✨
We are nearing the end of my 10 weeks of themed yoga and now we turn towards the reason why so many people come to yoga: SVADHYAYA - STUDY OF THE SELF.
Yogic practices encourage us to linger in our experience as we explore breath, movement, stillness, sensation, wandering thoughts and internal story.
Sometimes it is exhilarating when we become aware and know ourselves with greater clarity.
And, sometimes, when we come up against our inner walls, fear of what we might find on the other side keeps us from seeking deeper.
That is why we must inquire kindly.
Tread carefully.
Retreat as we need.
As a Mental Health First Aider further trained in Mental Health Aware Yoga, I will hold supportive, compassionate space as you explore who you are, little by little.
