Chef Liam has been working on his cooking skills and it’s safe to say he’s really kicking some goals!

Cooking develops important life skills and is a great way to develop and build on executive functioning skills, such as imitating tasks, planning, time management, organisation and working memory.

A gorgeous story.

We are so excited to share our social worker Carla’s new venture and we’d love you to help us get the word out and share with your friends and networks.
Carla is a social worker and counsellor and now out and off on her own and taking referrals. We are so excited to see her opening her doors and Safe Space to young people.
She has worked with so many young people across therapeutic support, counselling, social work and in sport. Those who know will know that so often she is told that she their safe space, that she has a special ability to create a safe space for them... so she is opening up her Safe Space for young people in our community to work with her.
For 8 years she has worked with young people and if there's one thing we know about her and her skills, it's that innate ability to build relationship and connect with even with the most disengaged, at risk and traumatised young people is special. This is the basis for trust and creating safety and it is this relationship, supported by creative and strengths-based approaches that can have a real impact on their development, healing and recovery.
Safe Space is taking referrals to support young people across areas of childhood and developmental trauma, as well as sexual assault and abuse in our community with social work, counselling, psychoeducation and therapeutic support.

Please share and invite your friends and networks to like the page.

Safe Space 🌼 Don't hesitate to contact Carla to find out more or for referrals.
