A BIG THANK YOU to all who attended and contributed to our Cent Sale!

We had a great turn-out, lots of fun, loads of prizes and yummy afternoon tea.

A total of $2,659.20 was raised for Ridgehaven! Wow!

Special thanks to the Residents & Friends Fundraising Group for your hard work in putting this Cent Sale together. This dedicated little band of workers have done a phenomenal job over many years fundraising for Ridgehaven. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. 😍

A one-bedroom unit has become available at the North Burnett Village, Newton Street (next to the Memorial Park). The Village is designed for persons aged 60yrs and over who are seeking to downsize and are able to live independently. Applications are not means-tested.

The Village is located in a quiet area, close to shops and provides a sense of community. Aged Care Monto Inc is responsible for general maintenance, repairs and lawnmowing.

Positions available as personal carer. This role is challenging and physically demanding, but above all else very satisfying.

Work with a professional and friendly team who are passionate about the quality of care we provide our residents.

• Certificate 3 preferred (can train on the job)
• Must be a permanent Australian resident or have current approval to work
• Must be willing to work all shifts, these include 6.30am starts, late shifts and weekends (we operate 24/7)
• Must be able to work as part of a team
• Must have initiative and keen to excel
• Must have genuine interest in wanting to improve the lives of elderly persons
• A National Police Clearance and NDIS Yellow Card are required (we can assist in obtaining those)

We try to offer as much flexibility as possible with rosters. Salary sacrificing is offered after a probation of 3 months.

GOOD NEWS!
All is well again at Ridgehaven. Our residents are healthy, all symptoms have cleared.

Naturally we are staying cautious and maintaining strict hygiene and cleaning practices.

Visitors are most welcome to return to Ridgehaven.

Please make sure you use hand sanitisers and wash hands regularly.

We look forward to seeing you all soon ☺️

This is to advise that four of our residents have symptoms of gastro. All affected residents are now in isolation and are being tested for COVID & gastro.

Unfortunately this also means we are in lockdown.

For now, we won’t be able to allow any visitors. Please keep in touch with loved ones via phone or email. Staff are happy to pass on any messages.

We’ll keep everyone informed of any changes.
