How are you finding the new page format in the latest version of KnowNOW! – we think that the 2-column page format makes it easier to read so hope you do too!

All ALERTS now appear as collapsed lists at the top of the RIGHT COLUMN. You will be able to see how many overdue (red) tasks and imminent (yellow) tasks there are in the collapsed view.

You’ll see that the QUICK LINKS are now in tile format in the RIGHT COLUMN – you can easily add your own links to this section, as well as delete any default links that you don’t need/use.

Our new and improved TEXT EDITOR in the main column means that what you see while editing is the same as what displays after clicking 'Save'. Hyperlinks for websites and email addresses as well as images can be inserted using the Text Editor.

PAGE NAVIGATION is now easier thanks to the page hierarchy displayed at the top of the page – you can click on the HOME link to quickly get back to the Home Page.

To adjust the PAGE SIZE, dragging down on the bottom corner of your browser window expands both columns evenly, giving you more space everywhere on the page. Shrinking the browser window condenses both columns evenly.

One of the GREAT updates in the new version of KnowNow! is the ability to upload multiple files at the same time – you can either select the files from your computer or 'drag and drop' files.

So much quicker to upload all your documents!

Once you have uploaded a document, you can rename it, move it to another folder or delete it if you no longer need it. Remember it's like your filing cabinet, you can create as many folders as you like – so no excuse not to be organised 😀

HINT: We have added a tutorial on the Settings page of your KnowNow! to help you discover all the changes!

What is two-factor authentication and why is it used?

In recent years, there has been an increase in the number of websites losing data. As cybercrime gets more sophisticated, we need to protect our data with something that’s stronger than just a password. That extra level of security is two-factor authentication.

✓ Two-factor authentication (2FA) is a security system using two different processes to verify the user.

✓ It provides a higher level of security than a single-factor authentication which is typically a password or passcode.

We have worked hard to incorporate 2FA into this major update of KnowNOW! For more information see the tutorial located on your settings page.
