Our teams are gearing up for a wonderful Christmas Pageant season! From parades in Penguin to the Myer City of Hobart Christmas Pageant, our St John crews will be out having fun and keeping the community safe.

It’s one of our favourite times of the year — a chance to celebrate, connect, and support the community we love. If you see us along the way, be sure to give our volunteers a big wave and a smile! 💚

Anthony Soutar has been riding for years, and like many riders, he knows how unpredictable the road can be.

After completing our Motorcycle Trauma First Aid Course, he shared a message that stuck with us:

A huge thank you to our incredible EHS volunteers who supported this year’s Point to Pinnacle and Point to Pub. With 5,000 competitors across both events, our team of 24 members, 10 vehicles and a dedicated operations plan worked tirelessly from before dawn to late afternoon.

A special thanks to those who travelled from Launceston and everyone behind the scenes preparing vehicles, gear, and catering. This is one of our biggest annual deployments, and our members represented St John with excellence.

It’s that time of year again! Our amazing volunteers are gearing up for the 2025 Point to Pinnacle this Sunday — one of Tasmania’s most iconic events!

Best of luck to all the runners and walkers taking on the climb from the Casino to the summit. Keep an eye out for our St John team along the course — we’ll be there to keep everyone safe, supported, and smiling. Don’t forget to give us a wave as you go by! 💚

Sudden cardiac arrest can strike without warning, having a defibrillator close by can make all the difference.

We’re inviting community groups and charities to apply for a FREE life-saving AED. One deserving group will receive a high-quality defibrillator, plus access to training to ensure your team feels confident and prepared in an emergency.
