Allied Health providers are being pushed to breaking point.
Ongoing price cuts, combined with absorbing administration and travel costs for NDIS participants, have made service delivery unsustainable.

This is not a fair or viable model — and it's hurting the people the NDIS was designed to support. The scheme has now been referred to the ACCC over concerns of price fixing.

The current approach ignores the true cost of running a quality healthcare service. The Labor government must take action.

It’s time to fight for a fair, equitable NDIS.

Time is upon us as parliamentarians meet in Canberra from the 22nd July. Monique Ryan, JacquieLambie, Phillip Thompson among many other MPs have all been influenced by your letters and fully support our cause.
Join people like yourself who have written to their local MPs and have your voice heard. Write to your local federal MP and tell them why your child needs physiotherapy and how it has helped. Jenny McAllister - Minister for NDIS has accepted Pricing review ERRORS that will affect all NDIS participants. Read on.
The pricing review committee is made up of 3 hand picked people (not independent)
The Pricing review committee admitted to their flawed data in a report to the minister and stated:
*We compared prices with 1 Private health insurer (there are over 30 which makes this data invalid)
*Based private billing rates from provider websites (no checks were made)
*Did not account for disability complexity type or regional variations. (Disability service provision takes 60 mins not 20 minutes).
*The Pricing Review Committee stated; price caps are starting to affect service provision and viability of some providers.
You can now thank Jenny McAllister for initiating the demise of NDIS therapy services based on flawed data. Therapy accounts for ONLY 10% of the entire NDIS budget and Physiotherapy services account for around 1% of the NDIS budget.
THERE’S NO LOGIC TO THESE CUTS. PARTICIPANTS WILL MISS OUT.

The NDIS have a knowledge they fudged the data and basically said BAD LUCK. We’re still going ahead with the cuts.
In 2 years therapy services could be very different to what our clients know today. BUT there is still time for the NDIS to come to their senses before Federal parliament resumes in Canberra in July.

1./Make some noise and write to your local Federal MP about your child’s story and why Physiotherapy is so important.
