Chantelle Bell, Naturopath

Chantelle Bell, Naturopath Passionate about helping women navigate the hormonal rollercoaster of Perimenopause šŸŽ¢ I like to call that reality. And don’t you want to finally feel better?

Apart from being an experienced naturopath with over 14 years of clinical practice, I am also a mum, cook, cleaner, mediator….the list goes on…..who, like you, can feel worn down by it all. I try my very best to exercise, eat well and cook nutritious food for me and my family but you know that thing called…..life, well it comes up and some days I slip up! And that’s how I work with you, with reality in mind. I know that asking a mum to prepare two different meals at least three times a day can be quite unrealistic, so I make sure I offer you family friendly solutions. Apart from helping tired and exhausted mums get their energy back, I also help you sleep better, reduce your stress and anxiety, eliminate that uncomfortable bloating and embarrassing wind whilst also getting you to feel great about yourself! Because I feel that our diet plays such a huge role in our health, I also make sure that you are well prepared on how to eat and cook healthy meals for you and your family. You will actually be surprised at how changing a few small things in your diet and lifestyle can make you feel so much better.

Perimenopause can feel like a rollercoaster you never signed up for. One day you’re fine, the next… you don’t even recognise yourself. šŸ˜ž

šŸ‘‰ Your moods are all over the place.
šŸ‘‰ Sleep? What’s that?
šŸ‘‰ Weight is creeping up, even though nothing’s changed.
šŸ‘‰ Brain fog makes it feel like you’re losing your mind.

I see you. I hear you. And you are not alone in this.

That’s why I’m running Navigating the Perimenopause Rollercoaster—a 3-day masterclass to help you make sense of what’s happening and, more importantly, what you can do to start feeling better.

šŸ’” Here’s what we’ll cover:
āœ”ļø Day 1: Why your hormones feel out of control—and what’s really going on.
āœ”ļø Day 2: The symptoms no one talks about (but you need to know).
āœ”ļø Day 3: How to take back control and start feeling like yourself again.

This is for you if you’re tired of feeling dismissed and just want real answers about what’s happening to your body.

šŸ’› You don’t have to go through this alone.

Comment ā€œI’m in!ā€ and I’ll send you the details.

šŸŒž Summer was a blast, but let’s be real—holidays can throw healthy habits out the window! Between beach days, camping trips in Bright, and a few too many indulgences, I felt my diet and routine needed a reset. Sound familiar?

Here’s how I’m easing back into balance without being too hard on myself (because it’s all about progress, not perfection):

šŸ„— Dinner upgrade: Adding an extra serve of veggies to my plate. A little goes a long way for my energy and digestion!
šŸ„• Snack swap: Ditching crackers for veggie sticks with hummus. Still tasty, but way more nourishing.
šŸ’Ŗ Back to the gym: Dusting off the weights to rebuild strength and keep those muscles working.
🐶 Morning movement: Early walks with my dog (and soaking in that morning sunlight). It’s a win for me and my furry friend!
šŸ· Alcohol check: Cutting back on wine (but still enjoying it occasionally).

Small changes, big results. šŸ™Œ If you’ve been feeling the same post-holiday slump, remember—it’s about finding balance, not being perfect.

Which of these feels easiest to start with for you? Let me know below! šŸ‘‡

Earlier in the week, I spent 4 days at the World Congress on Menopause which was both inspiring and eye-opening.

This event brought together medical professionals from around the globe, with a significant focus on MHT (menopausal hormone therapy) – something many women hear about but don’t always understand fully.

As someone who values continuous learning, I took this opportunity to deepen my understanding.

Menopause is often overlooked in health education, but I’m committed to staying at the forefront to provide women the support they deserve.

One thing was clear: while MHT took centre stage, we know it isn’t always the answer for everyone.

At times I was left thinking about ā€˜what if she can’t take MHT or doesn’t want to’ and ā€˜what about treating the WHOLE body’

I was thrilled to attend talks that did highlight the power of lifestyle changes – from the importance of exercise and protein intake for muscle and bone health, to why quality sleep is vital, and the cardiovascular impacts of menopause.

Herbal medicine was mentioned in first line treatment for PMS/PMDD, I nearly jumped out of my seat to do a happy dance šŸ’ƒšŸ¼

There were also key discussions on vaginal health and the vaginal microbiome, both often overlooked but crucial for long-term well-being during menopause.

This experience only reiterated why I love the work that I do. It reminded me how essential it is to focus on the whole body. Hormones are just one piece of the puzzle – real, sustainable health is about understanding how everything works together.

I’m excited to bring these insights back into my practice – because while hormones are important, there’s so much more to the picture. Your health is multi-dimensional, and so is the support you deserve. šŸ’›

If you’re curious about how these insights might apply to your journey, feel free to comment below or DM me. I’m always here to help!
