Yesterday over 80 Residents and Management gathered to celebrate Village Life.
3 Course Lunch followed by Afternoon Tea was enjoyed by all.

Residents gathered in the Community Centre to watch the Adelaide Anzac Dawn Service on ABC TV.
This was followed by an egg and bacon muffin breakfast washed down with a coffee with a dash.

Residents travelled to Ardrossan Hotel for their monthly Pub Lunch.
Thanks to Brad and his wonderful staff, an enjoyable meal was had by all.

An early start on Friday 24th January 2025 saw 22 residents embark on a day’s outing, taking the Wallaroo Ferry to Cowell. Great day weatherwise with no wind, resulting in just a gentle roll of the boat during the 2 1/2 hour trip. On arrival in Cowell they were met by two mini buses organised by the Cowell Lions Club. Residents were driven the beautiful seaside town looking at the sights. Lunch was enjoyed at the Franklin Harbour Hotel. After lunch residents had some free time to do whatever they wanted; some people socialised at the hotel while others wandered the main shopping street making sure they were all ready at 3pm to catch the buses back to the ferry terminal ready for the 4pm sailing. Although the wind had increased slightly it was still a relatively smooth return trip.
A great day enjoyed by everyone.

AUSTRALIA DAY 2025 CELEBRATIONS
Our residents gathered together to enjoy a lamb chop barbecue with lots of delicious salads followed by lamingtons, mini pavlovas, apple slice and fresh fruit.
They even had our own beach indoors!
An enjoyable afternoon.

ANZAC Day in the Village.
Many residents braved the early cold start to the day to gather in the Community Centre to watch the ABC TV broadcast of the Adelaide Dawn Service.
Following the telecast everyone enjoyed an egg and bacon muffin washed down with a cup of tea, coffee or hot toddy.
A great morning get together to remember those who fought and sacrificed to give us the life we now enjoy.
