YOU CAN STILL JOIN THIS 14-DAY INNER JOURNEY CELEBRATING MAHA SHIVARATRI
The sacred celebration of Shivaratri is just one aspect of our 14-day spiritual retreat designed to help you develop a steady yoga practice, inner reflection, and connection with your true Self.
From February 8–22, 2026, join us in Rishikesh for a structured, two-week daily routine that includes yoga, Kundalini kriya, chanting, satsang, lifestyle tips and more, to deepen your inner awareness. Observing Maha Shivaratri is just one of the many opportunities we offer to deepen your understanding of yoga’s spiritual dimension.
In the yogic tradition, Shivaratri is an all-night celebration, observed through participation in sacred practices, mantra chanting throughout the evening, and devotion to Lord Shiva. In addition to the regular practices offered by the Centre, students can participate in the sacred Shivaratri rituals conducted by the monks at the Shivananda Ashram, providing direct access to a living tradition.
In this context, Shivaratri is not something you will simply remember. It is an opportunity to practice awareness through discipline, supported by preparation throughout the retreat.
Our daily schedule follows a traditional structure:
• A simple, disciplined daily routine
• Regular yogic practices
• Group chanting, discussion and Q&A
• Guidance from a teacher who lives the path
For those who understand that yoga is an ongoing journey toward inner alignment, this retreat offers a range of experiences and practices that not only help you go inward in a practical way but also provide a routine so you can maintain your practice long after the retreat ends.
