🔥 Want to elevate your leg day? The Bulgarian split squat is a fantastic exercise for building strength, stability, and balance in your legs and glutes! 🔥
Here’s how to set up properly:
1️⃣ Find a sturdy bench or platform behind you. Stand about two feet in front of it.
2️⃣ Place one foot on the bench, with your toes resting on the edge.
3️⃣ Keep your standing foot flat on the floor, about shoulder-width apart, with knees aligned over your toes.
4️⃣ Engage your core, keep your chest up, and slowly lower into a lunge position, bending your front knee to about 90 degrees.
5️⃣ Push through your front heel to return to the starting position, feeling the stretch and activation in your glutes and quads.
Pro tip: Maintain a tall posture and avoid leaning forward. Focus on controlled movement for maximum effectiveness.
