Focus Individualised Support Services were initially founded in 1972 as a small residential school catering to children with intellectual disabilities.

Formally known as The Kindilan Society, they have since evolved into an organisation that offers comprehensive disability support services. Over the years, their commitment to providing accommodation and training has expanded to accommodate a growing number of individuals.

Today, Focus proudly supports over 100 adults with disabilities across the Mornington Peninsula and its surrounding areas, ensuring they receive the compassionate care and dedicated support they deserve.

The team at Focus would like to notify our community that our head office has been severely impacted by the fire at the Coolstores that started in the Endota Spa on the evening of Tuesday, 17th June. The fire got into the ceiling cavity, so the other businesses sharing the Coolstores complex have all been impacted. We feel for all our neighbours. Despite the fire and water damage that may eventually force Focus to rebuild our premises, we are resolute that the organisation and our team will continue business as usual. Our management team of over 30 people are already equipped to be working from home and/or alternate sites, and the people we support, their families and our employees remain our priority. Our community has all been contacted. However, if anyone would like to know more about how we will continue to offer the highest quality of support to people with disability, or offer their support as we rebuild, we encourage you to get in contact.
