This year has and continues to be a great teacher for returning back to what is important. Last December, I was in Chennai, on a trip themed 'Return to source'. Back to the roots of the lineage of my teacher and of the roots of Yoga.
Since then, I've been reminded of all the ways I move myself away from the simple principles of Yoga and the de-conditioning of the practices. Our unique expression and experience are a result of the removal of obstacles in order to understand what is underneath or within us.
Due to a series of events, I've made some big decisions. I truly believe that if there is a lot of tension and resistance, you need to change your approach or direction to the goal. Why argue with reality? I've tried several ways to move back to the Southern GC, and none have been the right fit. I've tried expanding my offerings, but this isn't the right time. And so it is...
In May, I'll be moving back to Brisbane and will take some time to recalibrate and sit with the change. I have loved being on the coast, and the last 7 years have been incredible for me to live so close to the ocean I love so much. This has also meant that I've made the decision to step away from teaching in studios for the next 12 months to delve into my own practices more. This will allow me to expand on future offerings and to also ensure I'm returning to the source of what I teach.
I know that there will be requests for more restorative & and privates. Stay connected for more updates 🍃 I will need some time to be with the shift and to let my life find a new rhythm. There will also be the mailing list that will continue and the online resources that I'll add to over the year as well.
It wasn't easy to move knowing the communities I've connected with will be so far away. I trust the people in my heart will stay in touch and I will miss the incredible support and love from and . I have loved every opportunity to teach philosophy and yoga with your unwavering encouragement ♥️. The balance community have been so curious and open and that is such a blessing to be a part of.
Thank you, thank you, thank you
