Message to patients with upcoming appointments:

We are now requesting all patients attending in person appointments wear masks (provided at reception). This is due to the current massive cold/flu/covid outbreak. This helps protect you, our staff and other patients.

If you are unwell even with mild cold/flu symptoms please ring us on 9725-3003 to change your in person appointment to a video or phone consultation. If you’ve tested positive to COVID please do not attend in person for at least 7 days after becoming unwell and then only attend if you have been well for at least 48 hours.

Thank you for your understanding.

Our clinic building will be closed on Tuesday June 10th from 9am - 3pm due to a power outage.

Our phones will be answered but our staff won't have access to our software so will have limited ability to book or change appointments.

All patients booked for this day will be seen at our sister clinic Molescope Skin Cancer Clinic at 262 Manchester Road, Mooroolbark and are aware of the change.

We thank you for your understanding and know that it will be especially challenging as it's the Tuesday after a long weekend which is typically a very busy day on the phone.

Storms are forecast in coming days. Use this weekend to prepare your properties. Also remember to charge powerbanks and make sure your battery powered torches and radio have fresh batteries.

Victorians are being encouraged to prepare their properties for storms ahead of winter, with the potential for damaging winds to impact parts of the state over the coming days, with Sunday and Monday a particular focus.

A series of cold fronts are forecast to cross Victoria from Saturday evening and into early next week, increasing the risk of storm activity and strong winds.

To prepare for an expected increase in adverse weather throughout winter, community members can clear their gutters and trim back any overhanging branches from their property, and secure any loose outdoor items.

For more information on how to prepare for storms, visit www.ses.vic.gov.au/plan-and-stay-safe/emergencies/storm. If you require VICSES assistance, call 132 500.

There are now measles exposure sites in Ringwood from March 20 and 21. Please follow the link in the post for exact details.

Five further measles cases have been identified in Victoria. Two of these cases are locally acquired and linked to the recent local outbreak reported in February. Three cases acquired their infection overseas in Bali.

These cases have been infectious at multiple locations around Melbourne.

👉 People who have attended the listed exposure sites, during the specified dates and times contained within the link below, should monitor for symptoms of measles.

👉 Anyone who develops symptoms of measles should seek medical care. Wear a mask and call ahead to make sure you can be isolated from others.

👉 All Victorians are eligible to receive the free measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine if born during or after 1966. Two doses are required for immunity.

👉 Anyone planning overseas travel should make sure they have received appropriate travel vaccinations, including the MMR vaccine.

👉 Measles is a highly infectious viral illness that can spread from person-to-person and potentially lead to serious health complication including pneumonia and brain inflammation (encephalitis).

Our thoughts and prayers are with those affected by the Montrose bushfire that is now out of control and threatening homes. It's quite scary as it's only a few minutes drive from our clinic and so very much within the suburbs of Melbourne. We hope the rain today is heavy and can help contain the fire as quickly as possible.

There is a water leak on Hull Rd, 2 doors down from our clinic at 256 Hull Rd. Traffic cones are in use and there’s no right turn into our clinic when travelling from Five Ways.

We remain open thanks to emergency back up water from Yarra Valley Water. They are also supplying back up water to the school.

They are just starting to dig to find the problem so expect these traffic changes will be in place for some hours. The footpath on this side of Hull Rd is closed.
