Doveston Health is a multidisciplinary allied health clinic located in Morayfield (40minutes North of Brisbane) currently offering physiotherapy, exercise physiology, podiatry, diabetes education, nutrition & dietetics services to the greater Moreton Bay region. We provide services to private patients as well as patients referred under the WorkCover, Insurance, Medicare and Department of Veteran Affairs schemes. We also provide pre-employment medicals, professional assessments and reports for solicitors, employment agencies, schools and local sporting clubs. Doveston Body Concepts prides itself on its vibrancy and treatment style with the latest evidence based research. Our specialised services have successfully assisted our patients with chronic disease management, physical rehabilitation, work place health issues, athlete fitness, sports performance, strength and conditioning as well as functional assessments and medically based weight loss/management services. Two types of iron:
๐Ÿ– Haem iron (animal foods, absorbed better) โ€“ lean red meat, chicken, fish.
๐ŸŒฑ Non-haem iron (plant foods, needs help) โ€“ beans, lentils, spinach, broccoli, fortified cereals.

This past weekend, Doveston Health was proud to support the Lomipeau North Brisbane Tongan Rugby League teams as an official event sponsor at the Wiser Pasifikas Battle of the Zones โ€” an incredible celebration of Tongan culture, sport, and community.

Our Physiotherapist Caitlin Theocharis provided on-field injury management and recovery support throughout the competition, keeping players in peak condition over two action-packed days.

The event brought together four Tongan zones for an unforgettable showcase of athleticism, pride, and cultural unity, featuring rugby league, traditional performances, music, and delicious food โ€” all hosted at the North Ipswich Reserve.

โœ… Slow down, put your fork down between bites, and notice flavours and textures โ€” youโ€™ll enjoy meals more and support digestion.

๐Ÿ’ก Dietitian Tip: Start with one meal a day. Take 10โ€“15 minutes, chew slowly, and check your hunger levels halfway through.
