FEELING SORE AFTER A WORKOUT????
If you’re feeling sore 1–2 days after a class… that’s actually GREAT news! 🎉
It means you worked hard, challenged your body, and your muscles are in “growth mode.”
A quick nerdy-but-fun breakdown 👇
When you train, your muscle fibres get tiny little micro-tears (don’t worry, it’s totally normal). Your body then repairs those fibres, making them stronger and more resilient. That post-workout soreness? That’s your muscles saying, “Hey! We’re rebuilding and levelling up!”
If you don’t feel sore, there’s a couple of reasons why:
⭐ Your body might be used to the movements
⭐ Or it might be time to step things up a notch
How to level up your training:
• Add a little more weight to the bar
• Focus on activating the muscles you should be using (not sure what they are? Ask your trainer! We LOVE those questions 🥰)
• Nail your form — perfect technique makes all the difference
• Try changing your tempo — slow it right down or speed it up with control
• Remember: muscles grow when they’re under tension!
You don’t need to smash yourself to get results… just challenge your body in smart, intentional ways. 💪🔥
