I am writing to let you know that my haerenga in Piripane has come to an end.

I have returned to Aotearoa to be near my aging folks.

I would like to express my appreciation to each of you whose lives have touched mine. I am so honoured and grateful for the trust you all shared with me. I am forever changed by our exchange.

A flow on from our fabulous noho, Rukuhia Wānanga Reo Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiarangi. One of my whaiora who attended the same came to see me today and as a ‘finish with a flourish’ … we did a waiata-ā-ringa that we learned. Clearly I’m still learning.
