🔊 Tinnitus Awareness Week 🔊
It's Tinnitus Awareness Week, a time to shine a light on the challenges faced by those living with tinnitus—a condition that causes persistent ringing, buzzing, or hissing sounds in the ears. It’s estimated that around 1 in 5 people will experience tinnitus at some point in their lives, and for many, it can have a significant impact on quality of life.
At Brain Treatment Centre, we offer MeRT therapy (Magnetic e-Resonance Therapy), a non-invasive treatment that could help those affected by tinnitus.
Wishing you a Merry Christmas and joyful holidays from the team at Brain Treatment Centre Australia! 🎄🌟

Did you know? The brain has a huge amount of storage space, roughly equivalent to 2.5 petabytes. To put it into perspective, a petabyte (PB) is a unit of data storage that represents one quadrillion bytes. It's commonly used to measure the capacity of hard drives, data centers, and cloud storage systems 🤯

Brains: All of us have them, but did you know? Every person's brain is like a fingerprint! 🧠💡
According to research published in the journal ‘Science Advances’, our brains have a “fingerprint”, too: “an individual’s functional brain connectivity profile is both unique and reliable, similar to a fingerprint, and it is possible, with near-perfect accuracy in many cases, to identify an individual among a large group of subjects solely on the basis of her or his connectivity profile.”

Maintaining optimal brain health is essential for overall well-being and cognitive longevity. Lifestyle Strategies for enhancing Brain health can be a huge help! Here are a few things you can do to boost cognitive function 🧠✨
1. Regular Physical Activity: Engaging in consistent exercise promotes the development of new nerve cells and enhances connections between brain cells, leading to improved efficiency and adaptability.
2. Balanced Nutrition: Consuming a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, fish, nuts, and unsaturated oils, such as the Mediterranean diet, is associated with a reduced risk of cognitive impairment and dementia.
3. Mental Stimulation: Challenging the mind through learning new skills, engaging in artistic activities, or solving puzzles can have both short- and long-term benefits for brain health.

INTRODUCING MeRTsm BRAIN
TREATMENT CENTRE AUSTRALIA
Through personal determination driven by a genuine belief in the treatment, Brain Treatment Centre Australia has successfully brought Guided Magnetic e-Resonance Therapy (MeRTsm) to the Australian shores.
Previously only available in the USA, the technology is a pioneering brain stimulation therapy that is building support around the world for its precision in identifying, targeting and altering brainwave activity to optimise brain function and provide benefits such as improved sleep, concentration, memory, mood and stress.
Based on the principles of neuromodulation; an emerging science for the treatment of neurological conditions, under the MeRTsm application protocols are tailored to the individual to identify and address and optimise a multitude of neurological functions.
MeRTsm is non-invasive and non-pharmaceutical. The science was developed by highly qualified neuroscientists who have fostered an evidence-based model that is informed by innovative brainwave imaging.
It is a highly advanced precision neuromodulation approach which is already being used by thousands of people through a growing global network of Brain Treatment Centres.
As a new innovation on the market, the application of MeRTsm in Australia is not currently subsidised. We have an initial two-week assessment period for all new participants to validate the therapy’s effectiveness on each individual and provide a degree of certainty pursuing with ongoing sessions. This will be determined based on therapy results and improved outcomes.
MeRTsm is changing the way we think about the mind and has the potential to improve the lives of many Australians.
