Christine Davies Remdial Massage Therapy is owned by myself, Christine, I am currently working at Northlakes Chiropractic and Remedial Massage. I have been practising massage for 8 years now and absolutely love my job. It all started after completing my diploma of TCM Remedial Massage Therapy at AIAS in 2016 and then going on to do the diploma of Remedial Massage at Q Academy in 2018. I have since

completed many short courses including cupping, pregnancy and infant massage, manual lymphatic drainage massage. With a variety of massage therapy styles offered, the clinic will suit all massage needs, appealing mostly to those looking to incorporate massage as part of their regular overall health and wellbeing program. A relaxation massage aimed to reduce stress, help mental health and alleviate muscular pain and tension. pressure can be light, firm or hard depending on personal preference and is always used within your comfort level.

Remedial Massage

Aimed to improve range of movement in joints and relieve pain associated with injury, musculoskeletal disorders or to assist in sport performance. pressure can be light, firm or hard depending on personal preference and is always used within your comfort level.

Pregnancy Massage

Is any style of massage while you are pregnant, pregnancy massage is safe from beginning to end of pregnancy and can help with the associated pain and tension. Although there are some areas/massage techniques to be avoided in certain stages of your pregnancy so it is important to let me know before your treatment so I can make any changes to the treatment. I am always happy to incorporate an infant massage lesson with you and your partner before or after your massage, I do recommend pre booking in though so I can be prepared.

*Infant massage is something that I can show you how to do so that once baby is born you can do it yourself at a time that works best for you both. I use dolls to show you and can provide a step by step guide to follow or practice. Lymphatic Drainage Massage

Is aimed to reduce swelling due to medical conditions, surgery or injury. A firm but gentle pressure is used, always within your comfort zone and can be a nice relaxing massage.

I just spent the weekend attending a pregnancy and infant massage course at Q Academy I learnt so much more than I thought I would going into it, and really enjoyed it. Massage is such a wonderful way to help prevent pain, manage pregnancy related pain, reduce stress and prepare for the birth. I am also happy to show my pregnant clients how to massage their newborns, which can be a wonderful experience for both parents and baby, while also helping with reflux, wind, constipation, sleep, just to name a few things. 😊🤗👐🤰🤱👨‍🍼👶

A bit about me -

Hi my name is Christine, I am a wife, a mum of 2 teens and 2 fur babies, my family are my world but I also love my job ❤
I started studying massage in 2014, completing my diploma in traditional Chinese medicine remedial massage in 2016. Starting up my own business was tough and I take my hat off to anyone who gives it a go! I was working from a room inside Red Dragon Martial Arts when I decided to go back to college and study my diploma in remedial massage therapy in 2018. I ended up deciding to close up my business in the martial arts school and concentrate on my studies. After graduating in 2019 I started working at Vital Point Acupuncture and Massage and loved it there, unfortunately they had to close up in July 2020. So now I'm here at Northlakes Chiropractic and really enjoying it, seeing all my lovely clients and love meeting new ones, hopefully I will be here for the long term 😀
