Quick thank you to everyone who donated shoes this year. It’s taken some time to organise a new home for this collection, but they have been delivered today to the Caboolture Community Action Group for distribution this weekend. 68 pairs of shoes saved from landfill and rehomed with people doing it tough this festive season.

Great News - we have had lots of inquiries lately and we think it's time to kick off another Shoe Collection.
Our "Shoes for Planet Earth" shoe collection aims at re-homing sports shoes in good condition and reducing the number of shoes going into landfill.
You can drop shoes directly to us in clinic, or bring along to Caboolture Road Runners on a Thursday night. We will also be doing some parkrun collection days.
PLEASE ADHERE TO THE FOLLOWING:
1. SPORTS SHOES only please.
2. NO HOLES AND GOOD SOLES. It is not worth donating shoes to if they are broken! We want to send shoes that will last a whole winter.
3. CLEAN! Would you like to receive a dirty pair of shoes? They can be hand scrubbed or washed on a short cold cycle in the washing machine. Best dried in the sun stuffed with newspaper – no tumble trying please as it destroys the shoe.
4. TIED TOGETHER in matching pairs so we can find the other half amongst all the hundreds of shoes we have. No individual pairs in plastic bags or boxes please – just more to throw away.
5. SHOE LACES & INNER SOLES – yes please.

We are proud to pay tribute to SEPA member, Matthew Klibbe, for combining excellence in podiatry with his other passion: racing. 👏

Matt has had a successful career in podiatry which has taken him all over Queensland. He ran his own podiatry practice, Peak Feet Podiatry, for 13 years, before selling the business in 2018 in order to purely work as a podiatrist and devote more time to his racing. 🏃🚴

Matt has travelled to the USA to race in the prestigious Boston Marathon, in 2016 he qualified for the Australian age group Triathlon team to race in the Off Road Triathlon World Championship held in the Snowy Mountains. He has raced multiple times in New Zealand, and had qualified to race again for Australia at the 2020 World Championships in the Netherlands when Covid shut travel down. He also has 2 silver medals for Australian National Cross triathlon titles in 2020 and 2022, and wore the green and gold again in the World Triathlon Multi Sports Championships in Townsville in 2024. 🏆

At the moment, Matt is training for a number of upcoming events including the State Duathlon Championships in Toowoomba and the Sunshine Coast Marathon. He has his sights set on qualification for the World Long Course Duathlon Championships in Switzerland. 🙌

Matt has successfully combined his sports and exercise passion into his podiatry career, and is the go-to Podiatrist for the local triathlon clubs and run clubs. Congratulations Matt! We're all super proud of your achievements and wish you all the best for all your future endeavors both professionally and in the world of racing 💜💪

We understand if you can’t make your appointment due to current conditions- please give us a call in the morning and I can reschedule for you!!
We have a few times lots available for appointments with Matt.
I also have a spare reformer available in my 7am class - message if you’d like to jump on.

We are taking a short break and heading "Across the Ditch" to Queenstown for the Sports and Exercise Podiatry Conference THURSDAY 20th FEBRUARY - REOPENING WEDNESDAY 26th FEBRUARY 2025.

There will be no appointments available during this time and no Pilates classes will be running.

You can still make bookings for when we return, however, phone and emails will be unattended until we return. Bookings can still be made online at www.peakfeet.com.au

We are back...almost. Still no internet so we are working off hotspots and having some issues with eftpos payments and private health billing.
Pilates is BACK.

As they say - When it rains, it pours!
Kelly has had to take some personal time this week and is not in clinic. Then our modem packed it in and we have no internet - so can’t receive phone calls or process payments.
And now Matt has lost his voice - so even if could call, you wouldn’t hear him.
We will do our best to shuffle patients and make things work but we may need to do some rebooks.
We thank you all for your patience- things are a bit tough at the moment 😞🥰🥹
