About Us

Kathy Penev ND understands well-being on a physical, emotional and spiritual level. With more than 15 years of experience in Naturopathy, a certified Body Type Practitioner, a trained Dorn Therapist and Low Level Laser Light Therapist, she is amply qualified to help you address your health concerns through a wide range of therapeutic modalities, offered at both her Mordialloc and Mooroolbark clinics. Kathy finds inspiration from a wide range of cultural influences and philosophies, which complement Healthwise Natural Therapies’ approach to your health and well-being.

She is the 2014 Gold Award winner of The Australian Business Quality Awards for Excellence in Customer Service.

As well as being a Professional Health Practitioner, Kathy holds a Diploma in Education and treats her clients with the aim to teach them about the therapies they are undertaking. She treats children and adults of all ages.

Kathy Penev is a general health service provider who is not legally required to be registered under National Health Practitioner regulation law. She practises under the national Code of Conduct that sets standards to general health service providers who are not regulated by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. The code became Victorian law on 1 February 2017. Any possible breach of this code by a non-registered provider may be grounds for a complaint to, or investigation by, the Health Complaints Commissioner (HCC).
