Exciting news! Our clinic has begun using ‘Quick Consults’ – an easy option for people without much time to see their GP.

For a small out of pocket fee, Quick Consults will be limited to repeat prescriptions, repeat referrals and basic pathology requests. New patients cannot access this feature. If you are needing painkillers, sleeping tablets or other restricted medications you will need to continue to book face to face appointments, so your GP can continue to monitor you and your healthcare needs closely.

If your GP feels you need a review, they will simply decline your request and ask you to book an appointment. Please note; not all Doctors at our clinic are currently using Quick Consults.

To book your Quick Consult, please click the Contact us button above, or here: https://mgpc.net.au/book-an-appointment/

Morningside General Practice Clinic’s Practice Manager, Jenny Boehm and Second in Charge, Pam Brownie were proud to implement a new influenza clinic model in 2024, which saw a generous uptake of patients administered their influenza vaccine.

Partnering with Sharon from the Brisbane South Public Health Network (BSPHN) and collaborating with all staff and Doctors, Jenny and Pam were able to increase their percentage of patients vaccinated against the flu by an incredible 298%.

Pictured below is Pam Brownie (Second in Charge) and Jenny Boehm (Practice Manager) receiving their award. (pic courtesy of the BSPHN, March 2025)
