I have a Masters student, Sarah Moore, who is researching the impact that COVID-19 may have had on intimate relationships. She is looking for couples to complete a questionnaire that should take approximately 30 minutes max to fill out. You must be:
- At least 18 years of age
- One partner in a couple who
- Has been in a romantic relationship for at least 6 months and
- Spends a minimum of 4 nights per week together
- Your partner is willing to participate in the study as well.

If you meet criteria and would like to participate, please discuss this with your partner to determine if you are both willing to participate. You can email Sarah on s12.moore@connect.qut.edu.au. Further details on the study and how to participate can also be found here: https://bit.ly/36E9dHp

My Master's student, Freya Gardon, is conducting research which explores the relationship between mentalisation (thinking about our own mental states and the mental states of others) and conflict within adult romantic relationships. She is seeking participants who are 18 years of age or older and are currently in a relationship of at least 6 months. The study involves completing an anonymous online questionnaire which will take about 30 minutes. Further details on the study and how to participate can be found by clicking on the following link:

Christmas is supposed to bring us closer together. For one family who are spending the holiday holed up in hotel quarantine, this sense of closeness has taken on a very literal meaning. I've been a bit quiet of late. There's so much going on in the world, it has been difficult to know where to direct my attention some days. I came across this gem today and it has reminded me of why I elected not to go for a 10km walk/run this morning after having had only 3 hours sleep, and why instead I stayed home to sew face masks! Thanks Spilt Milk Psychology!
