The April break is the perfect chance to reset, recharge, and refocus – and we’ve created the ultimate opportunity for young athletes to do just that.

Too many teenagers are training hard, but not always training smart. Poor movement patterns, lack of strength, and not enough recovery often lead to injury, burnout, or loss of confidence. That’s where our Junior Athlete Development Program comes in.

Built for 13–18-year-olds who want to get better – in sport and life – this program is all about improving movement, building real strength, and developing the habits that lead to long-term success.

Introducing: Strength & Conditioning (S&C) 🏋🏼‍♀️🏃‍♀️

Starting January 1st, we’ll be calling what was formally Virtus Group Training what it truly is: Strength & Conditioning.

This is more than a name change. It’s a return to our roots, our DNA. Back in 2014, when we dreamed up what Virtus could be, one of our biggest goals was to bring high-quality Strength & Conditioning to everyone, not just elite athletes. S&C will sit proudly alongside our Virtus Athletic Development program.

In 2025, we’re leaning even harder into this vision.

Our Story

Virtus Performance is a gym, but not in the way you might recognise. What we do transcends the current understanding of what a gym should provide.

Virtus started in a shed, way back in 2011. In 2015 we moved into our current facility in Mornington. We wanted to create a facility where a team of professionals can exist to communicate best practice between health, function and performance to get the best possible service and result for you.

Virtus exists to foster constant improvement.

We believe that the journey is always more important than the destination.
