Today at , we had a truly special moment. While scanning a lovely patient’s teeth, we were treated to a beautiful ukulele performance! Scanning is already a much more comfortable alternative to traditional alginate impressions—no mess, no gagging—but having live music in the room made it even better.

It’s incredible how small, unexpected moments can bring so much warmth to our day. A huge thank you to our talented ukulele player for creating such a calming and joyful atmosphere!

The bacteria that cause gum diseases like gingivitis and periodontitis can travel through the bloodstream, leading to inflammation and damage in your blood vessels.

For diabetics, the connection is even more serious — high blood sugar can damage your teeth, and in turn, dental issues can make blood sugar harder to control.

It’s a vicious cycle that many people don’t realize.

The result? Cavities can literally lead to heart disease and even death — especially in those with preexisting health conditions. But despite how crucial dental health is, teeth are often treated as “luxury bones.”

And if a tooth infection spreads, it can quickly become a life-threatening issue by traveling to the brain or bloodstream.

I went to call my patient from the reception, only to find out they were fully engrossed in a serious chess game with Edward and I had to patiently wait for them to finish this very important match! 😁

Feeling so grateful today! 🐾🎄
One of my lovely patients surprised me with the sweetest gift—a soft toy sausage dog, all dressed up for Christmas! They must have known how much I adore this breed (I mean, I do have two long-haired sausage dogs, Vincent and Goodman, who completely rule my world!).

This thoughtful and festive gesture truly touched my heart and brought a little extra Christmas magic to my day. Thank you to my amazing patient (whose own sausage dog is named Molly—how adorable is that?). 🌟

To all the sausage dog lovers out there—don’t you agree these little legends make life so much brighter, especially at Christmas? 😁💕💕

Today, I received a beautiful rose from my patient’s garden as a thank-you for the smile I created for her. Moments like these remind me why I do what I do. It’s not just about making dentures—it’s about bringing back confidence, comfort, and joy.

Feeling spoiled this Monday! A lovely Croatian patient gifted me this beautiful pear brandy, and I couldn’t be happier. Who says you can’t start the week with a little celebration? Can’t wait to try it!

Last month, we had the absolute pleasure of meeting our newest VIP: a 100-year-young gentleman who strutted into DenturePoint looking sharp, cracking jokes, and putting us all to shame with his energy! Fit as a fiddle, sharp as a tack, and dressed to impress, he could’ve walked straight onto a movie set 🎩🕶️. If he’s proof of anything, it’s that a healthy smile is the best age-defying secret.
