Where are your shoulders right now?
If they’re sitting somewhere near your ears, you’re not alone. Stress, screens, and concentration have a way of creeping them up without us noticing.
Take a second to roll them back, let them drop and soften through your upper body.

Our Chiropractors were recently invited to observe orthopaedic surgeon Dr Andrew Chia in theatre at The Bays Hospital. Dr Chia specialises in hip and knee surgeries.
Jason was up first, he spent his day observing an ACL and meniscus surgery, knee replacement and a hip replacement surgery. It was great to see things from the surgical side and deepen our understanding of how these conditions are managed across different stages of care.
A big thank you to Dr Chia and the Artho Health team for giving our chiros this great opportunity.

An incredible day supporting the Mental Health Safety Net Fun Run, a community event raising funds for su***de prevention education and awareness.

Our team spent the morning supporting runners with post-run recovery, helping bodies unwind after a big effort and connecting with an incredibly inspiring community.
The event was a powerful reminder of the connection between physical movement and mental wellbeing.

Your teeth shouldn’t be touching right now.
Quick check… are they?
A lot of people hold tension in their jaw without realising it. Concentrating, driving, working, scrolling….the jaw quietly joins the party.
When it’s relaxed, your teeth should sit slightly apart with your tongue resting gently on the roof of your mouth.
So if you catch yourself clenching, let the jaw soften and give it a break.
Your temples, jaw and neck will likely appreciate it.

Happy International Women’s Day 🤍
Today we’re recognising the women who make up The Chiro Collective - our team and the many women we’re lucky enough to care for in the clinic.
Every day we see the many hats women wear. Running businesses, raising families, showing up to work, training hard, caring for others…..and somehow still finding time to look after their health (even if it’s sometimes the last thing on the list).
If there’s one thing we’ve learnt in clinic, it’s that women are pretty tough and we feel pretty lucky to play a small part in helping them feel their best.
So today’s a little shout out to all the incredible women in our community!

🏉Footy season is back and so is our Chiro Collective Footy Tipping Comp 🏉

Because adjusting spines is what we do best… but picking winners? That’s up for debate.

We’re excited to share that Dr Lauren is returning to clinic from maternity leave! 🎉🙌

She will be working Tuesdays & Thursdays all day from the 10th of February and alternating Saturdays starting 14th February.

While away, Dr Lauren kept up her professional development and has learnt some great new movement assessment tools which she can’t wait to start using in clinic.

Tuesday Tip: Tension isn’t always from overuse, sometimes it’s from not moving enough.

We often assume tightness or discomfort means we’ve done too much, but in many cases, it’s actually the opposite.
Long periods of sitting, repetitive tasks, or staying in the same position for too long can reduce movement variety and sensory input to the nervous system.

When the body doesn’t move through its usual ranges, muscles and joints can feel guarded or stiff even without injury. Gentle, varied movement helps reintroduce healthy input, improve circulation and support joint function.

This is why regular movement, posture changes and mobility exercises are so important for overall wellbeing.
If stiffness and tension keep returning or starts to limit your day-to-day activities, it’s worth getting it checked so the underlying contributors can be properly assessed.

2025 at The Chiro Collective ✨

This year brought growth both in the team and in our clinic family, we welcomed new practitioners and a baby into The Chiro Collective family. 👶🏻

It was a year full of clinic growth, where we added new services (pilates & remedial massage), continued our community involvement and of course had some fun along the way. 🤪
