Calling all creatives! 🎨📸
Our Capture & Create program is the perfect space for participants who love expressing themselves through photography and scrapbooking.
In this fun, hands‑on program, participants get to:
📸 Learn photography skills — from taking great photos to creative angles
🎞️ Explore digital and traditional photo projects
✂️ Create beautiful scrapbooks filled with memories and artwork
🖼️ Design personalised pages using photos, stickers, colours & textures
🤝 Work alongside others in a relaxed and supportive environment
Capture & Create encourages storytelling, creativity, confidence and individuality — one photo and one page at a time.

🌟 TLC PANTRY KITCHEN CREATIONS! 🌟
Something delicious has been brewing in our TLC Pantry Kitchen…
🍅🥒 Homemade Relish! 🎉
Our participants rolled up their sleeves and got hands‑on, learning how to:
✨ Chop fresh ingredients
✨ Follow a step‑by‑step recipe
✨ Cook safely and confidently
✨ Work as a team to create something amazing
The end result?
A tasty, flavour‑packed relish made completely from scratch — and lots of proud smiles from everyone involved! 💙
The Pantry Kitchen program is all about building real‑life cooking skills, exploring new foods, and creating delicious things together.

👩‍🍳 TLC Hands On Kitchen 👨‍🍳
Last week in the Hands On Kitchen, our participants whipped up pea and herb fritters — fresh, light, and absolutely delicious for summer! 🌿✨
Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and packed with flavour… these fritters were a hit! 😍
Our Hands On Kitchen is all about building confidence, learning new skills, and enjoying the food we create together.
Great job to everyone who took part! 👏🍴

🌸🐰 Easter Cake Decorating Workshop! 🐰🌸
Our Easter Cake Decorating Workshop is nearly here and we’re so excited to share it with you! 🎂✨
Join us for a hands‑on cake decorating session run by our qualified patisserie chef.
📅 Friday 27 March
📍 2b Loinah Road, Montagu Bay
⏰ 4:00pm – 8:00pm
💲 Program Fee: $50
🎉 Limited spots — BOOKINGS ESSENTIAL!
Each participant will decorate their own Easter‑themed cake, complete with buttercream, piping, and all the cute Easter vibes 🐣🎀 — and take it home in a cake box to enjoy.

This month we’re highlighting one of our most practical and empowering programs at the TLC Day Centre — the TLC Kitchen Pantry! 🥦🍲✨
Our Kitchen Pantry program helps participants build everyday life skills through:
🛒 Budgeting & smart shopping
🥕 Learning about healthy food choices
📦 Exploring pantry ingredients and how to use them
🍽️ Cooking delicious meals using items from the pantry
👩‍🍳 Building confidence in the kitchen with hands‑on support
Participants get the chance to create simple, nutritious meals using what’s available in the pantry — teaching creativity, independence, and real-world cooking skills.
We are currently welcoming new participants to join this program and others throughout the month!
