Day 1 of ̇ntermittentfasting - trialling some 16:8 fasting. 14.5 hours in 💪
For someone who has experienced “food noise” for decades, fasting has never felt easy or safe. My mind can start panicking, with thoughts like “but I’m starving - how will I focus if I don’t eat??”
But what if I can stay grounded, remind myself that I can actually eat whenever I want, and be confident in the knowledge that my body has plenty of “energy reserves” 😉 to keep me going…?
Imagine getting on top of the continual head noise around what to eat, and just trusting my body. Oh, the power in that… 👊
I’ll keep you posted on my progress, as I continue listening to Dr. Mindy Peltz’s audiobook “Fast Like a Girl”, and learning more about what my body needs.
