This isn’t a “lie on the floor and drift away” kind of class. It’s an intentional space to wake up, breathe deeply, and discover who you are today.

Are you moving enough?
Movement activates genes linked to inflammation, metabolism, mood and so much more.
One hour a day at the gym might be making you look better but are you then allowing yourself to be sedentary the rest of the day because you did ‘the work’ at 6am?
Do more, on purpose, make it harder as you go.

And just like that, with one breathwork session, the lid was loosened and the pressure released.
Not all of it at once, but it was a start and it felt amazing.

In November I’m doing a thing for to not only raise funds but to share some stories.
1km Sandbag Carry 100kg, 30 days.
After every carry there will be a video sharing mental health stories.
Come and walk with me and share your story. You can choose what weight to use of course.

Yes it’s a lot to read but please, please do.
When I first started having feelings of extreme anxiety and panic attacks of a regular basis, I was scared, alone and had no idea what to do. I suffered for years in silence hoping no one would notice. They did. But they didn’t understand either.
I eventually decided I can’t live like this I have to do something. Fortunately I chose to figure it out and find a better way.
There is a way through it and out the other side, to peace calm and a more functional life. It’s super easy but it’s really hard at the same time.
Make the decision, begin to learn everything and be relentless on your path to freedom. Do the work, get to the other side.

What an amazing night with .
We came together as Men to let go of our troubles, stresses, worries, fears, anger and past experiences and bring in peace, love, joy and a greater sense of self.
From the breathwork we headed outside for a fireside check-in. The sky was clear and the stars were out. The open, calm, honest level of sharing was beyond what I’ve seen before.
Thank you to the Men how participated so fully. Thank you to Ben for inviting me to guide. Thank you to the Peninsular Surf club for letting us use your amazing room and facilities.

I work in fitness because I find Strength, Fitness and Movement fascinating.
I coach because I love to watch people learn how to move, discover how to make the connection between mind and muscle creating movement. I love to see people make progress that they never thought possible.
I’ve always been active. I played all the sports at school in England. I mostly loved Rugby Union and Swimming. Representing various levels at both. I then went on to pursue a career in Tree Climbing as an Arborist. All the while dealing with a life time of back issues. As I got older the ‘issues’ began to get worse and more frequent. Throughout this time I was an active gym member, triathlete, runner and eventually CrossFit and Olympic Lifting competitor. I focus on teaching correct movement, mind muscle connections, injury prevention and mindset. I love hearing how clients gym work positively affects their lives. I also coach clients for local competitive events, making sure they are ready for the event fitness wise but also mentally.
The food industry has completely let us all down, it is up to us to discuss how to fix what we are eating. Whilst not a qualified Nutritionist, I have access to several and am more than willing to discuss food.
