You can relax when the work is done.

This isn’t about comfort.
It’s about capacity.

You load the body.
You stay with the breath.
You don’t back out when it burns.

That’s where things move.
That’s where release happens.

Breath Under Load

This is not about relaxation.
This is about showing up and doing the work.

Your body holds what the mind avoids—stress, emotion, tension, unfinished responses. To let it move, express, and release, you don’t bypass it.
You meet it under load.

In this session we use physical intensity, conscious breath, and focused effort to push into perceived limits and stay present inside the discomfort.
You’ll learn how to breathe when things get hard.
How to stay connected when the body wants to shut down.
How to let what’s been held finally move through.

This is demanding work—physically and emotionally.
Not passive. Not gentle.
But deeply embodied.

If you feel the pull toward challenge, effort, and honest self-exploration, this is for you.

Something amazing happened this morning. These two young men came to me and asked me to create a session for them.

The result was amazing.

We worked with Swami breathing to awaken and connect mend and body. Leaving them feeling alive and ready to work.

Then 3 rounds of very high intensity movement to stress the mind and body way past its perceived limits. (Total 3min)

Then back to Swami to keep the connection and tension going. Flowing into TRE and holotropic breathwork to let it all come out.

Intense and profound even from my perspective.

Let’s make this happen! DM if interested.

I was a chronic mouth breather for as long as I can remember. And I didn’t know how much it was affecting me be physically and mentally.

Learning why and how to best breathe throughout the day to manage my nervous system, emotions and mental health changed everything for me.

I can’t stress enough how important this stuff is!

Get in touch to learn more.

Online courses under construction too.

This is important to understand if you’re trying to master your breath. Knowing how to breathe for all kinds of daily life.

Then how to get better at it.

Remember breathing in through your nose means breathing up to breathe down. Aiming for the base of the sternum and lower rib cage. Staying in the parasympathetic. Nose chest breathing is not ideal at all.

Balance is key!

Too much intensity can lead to anxiety but also can lead to complacency and a total loss of intensity.

Too much long slow endurance can lead to increased depression whilst also never really pushing limits except for from a time point of view.

Too much of one will cause the arch to fall.

Find Balance. Use your breathing to help.

I work in fitness because I find Strength, Fitness and Movement fascinating.

I coach because I love to watch people learn how to move, discover how to make the connection between mind and muscle creating movement. I love to see people make progress that they never thought possible.

I’ve always been active. I played all the sports at school in England. I mostly loved Rugby Union and Swimming. Representing various levels at both. I then went on to pursue a career in Tree Climbing as an Arborist. All the while dealing with a life time of back issues. As I got older the ‘issues’ began to get worse and more frequent. Throughout this time I was an active gym member, triathlete, runner and eventually CrossFit and Olympic Lifting competitor. I focus on teaching correct movement, mind muscle connections, injury prevention and mindset. I love hearing how clients gym work positively affects their lives. I also coach clients for local competitive events, making sure they are ready for the event fitness wise but also mentally.
