Traditional Chinese Medicine is a medicinal framework which uses Chinese Herbal Medicine and Acupunc

Dr Tempe Simmons is a registered acupuncturist and Chinese medicine practitioner with over eight years practical experience. She obtained a Bachelors Degree in Chinese medicine in 2006, and continues to attend conferences to remain well versed in the latest patient care. Dr Simmons prides herself on prioritising the health and well being of her clients before anything else. After working predominantly with females, she found that most had sought out Chinese medicine to naturally help them conceive, or to help make pregnancy more manageable. Both treatments can be emotionally and physically draining on patients, and it's important to work with someone the patient trusts. Having become a mother herself, Dr Simmons understands how consuming pregnancy, or becoming pregnant, can become and puts her patients needs at the centre of her consultations, always striving towards a positive outcome.

While her passion is predominantly fertility and antenatal care, Dr Simmons is practiced in all areas of Chinese medicine and her services are available to treat a range of conditions including pain management and immune system function. She continues to work with males and females, supporting a natural path to improved health.

So I’m not the greatest at celebrating my milestones, but this month (I can’t actually remember the date 🤦‍♀️) marks 5 years since I’ve had my clinic.

While I’ve been practicing for 16 years there’s something about having your own physical space that hits different & feels pretty big.

I opened a week before stage 4 lockdown during covid & I’ve been so lucky to still be getting to do what I love in my own space with all my plants 🪴

I am truly grateful that I get to treat my patients every day & that you trust me with your selves (often during vulnerable & hard times). I wouldn’t still be here without you all (& my husband who gently pushed me to take the leap to go out on my own).

So thank you 🙏

Rylinn!
I got to meet this little girl a few weeks back & have a hold.

As she is number 2, I have known her mum Em for a while now, which as a practitioner, is the ultimate. It’s about being there through the doubt, through the tentative optimism, & through the horrendous Hyperemesis. & at the end, there is a beautiful baby, who, if she’s anything like her sister will be eating berries like they’re going out of fashion.
