As Skin Cancer Awareness Month comes to an end, it’s a good time to pause and check in with your skin. Regular skin checks are a simple but important part of looking after your health.
How to do a skin check:
1️⃣ Use a full length mirror to check your whole body
2️⃣ For areas that are difficult to see use a smaller, handheld mirror
3️⃣ Start at your head and work your way down your body
4️⃣ Look for new, or changed moles, raised spots, and discolouration
5️⃣ Don’t forget to check your fingernails, and between your fingers and toes
Take time to look for any new or changing spots, and seek professional advice if anything looks unusual.
