Procedure Spotlight: Breast Lift and Augmentation

A breast lift with augmentation is a procedure designed to address breast position and volume by combining mastopexy (breast lift) with implant placement.

During a consultation, factors such as breast anatomy, skin quality, and individual goals are carefully assessed to determine whether this approach may be appropriate. Recovery, scarring, and potential risks are also discussed in detail so patients can make informed decisions.

These images show an early post-operative stage at 6 weeks, with healing and scar maturation continuing over time.

If you’re considering surgery, a consultation is the best place to discuss your anatomy, goals, and what options are available for you.

*All surgical/ invasive procedures carry risks. For more information on these risks, please send us a DM. You should seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner before proceeding. Dr Wilson is a specialist plastic surgeon - AHPRA registration (MED0001157440).

FAQ: When can I start wearing makeup again after eyelid surgery?

After eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), it’s important to allow the area time to heal before applying makeup. In most cases, makeup should be avoided until incisions have healed and swelling has reduced. Your surgeon will provide personalised guidance based on your recovery.

Using makeup too early can increase the risk of irritation or infection, so following post-operative instructions closely is an important part of care.

If you’re unsure, always check with your surgical team before reintroducing makeup products.

Procedure Spotlight: Blepharoplasty

Blepharoplasty, often referred to as eyelid surgery, is a procedure that can address age-related changes around the upper or lower eyelids. It may involve removing or repositioning skin, muscle, or fat to improve concerns such as heaviness, puffiness, or sagging in the eyelid area.

During a consultation, Dr. Jeremy Wilson will assess your eyelids, discuss your goals, and outline the options that may be appropriate for your individual anatomy. You’ll also receive detailed information about the procedure, recovery, and what to expect.

If you’re interested in learning more about eyelid procedures, our team is here to guide you through the next steps.
