'Sacred Dance' is all about overcoming the obstacles that prevent us from expressing our natural selves. My offerings:
1. 'Moving into Life' online group session Saturdays at 10am. We start with a 10 minute warm-up based on yogic physiology to re-connect with body wisdom followed by a 30 minutes dance journey designed to dissolve tensions, enliven and connect into the stillness of Being. Simply make some space, connect your device to a speaker and move! Sometimes, we all need a little extra support to navigate challenging times. Dance Movement Therapy is a form of psychotherapy using a body/movement centered approach. Research shows that body centered therapy is most effective in managing and healing trauma, anxiety, depression and life transitions. Coupled with life coaching skills, I can support you to shed some light on the source of the issue, heal and make wise choices as you move forward. 3. Yoga:
I offer a blended yoga class online/in the studio on Tuesday nights, 6.30-8.45pm
The studio is in Mornington or you can join online. My focus is on helping people relieve stress, feel good and energized for daily life. The passage is the awareness of the breath moving the body. Each stretch done
with somatic awareness leads to inner calm, restored sense of self and well being. Message me or call to book: 0411860190.

‘Moving into Life’ is a body mind centered therapy using free form dance with ritual, guidance, imagery and lots of room to move, space to dream and be inspired.

‘Moving into Life’ individual sessions are designed to help you unblock tensions and limited beliefs, tap into your true Self and move forward in your life with clarity, confidence and passion. The entry point is the body which holds the score of all your experiences and impressions; positive and negative. As you move consciously and follow your impulses, a path into your true Self starts to unfold and wisdom comes in the form of symbols, gestures and images that can inform your life choices.

A typical session starts with a sharing/checking in with the dance/movement therapist who will guide you to create an intention for your session based on where you’re at and where you want to be. With this in mind, you will have the opportunity to move and tune into your body As the therapist holds safe space, you have the opportunity to move consciously and listen to your body more and more deeply and gain entry into the realms of wisdom and deep understandings which can inform and guide you on your path. When your movement comes to an end, you will have the opportunity to speak about your experience which helps to connect all that was revealed in your movement to your everyday life.

‘Moving into Life’ sessions are suitable for people who have an appreciation of the power of movement and dance as a therapeutic and healing modality. If you love to move and you know how movement can help you feel better, these sessions are for you. If you have been talking about your issues but not made any significant shifts, this body mind centered approach may give you the added dimension to break free of your old habits, open to your potential and live authentically.
