Big news! Dr. Bianca Carroll is back at Surrey Street, coinciding with the introduction of Surrey Street Skin, our specialized skin cancer clinic. Starting April 20, Dr. Carroll will focus exclusively on skin cancer surveillance and management, joining Dr. Smith and Dr. Asuncion in promoting a balanced, evidence-based approach to skin cancer care at Surrey Street Skin.

Surrey Street Family Clinic welcomes Dr. Kate Gledhill to the team!

Dr. Kate Gledhill is a GP registrar who has recently relocated from Melbourne and is excited to embrace a sea change. She completed her medical degree at Deakin University and has since gained broad clinical experience working with Northeast Health Wangaratta and Barwon Health in Geelong.

Kate has worked across a range of specialties, including general medicine, paediatrics and women’s health, and enjoys drawing on this diverse background in her work as a general practitioner. She is passionate about providing patient-centred care and is committed to ensuring her patients feel listened to and supported.

Introducing our GP Registrars....Dr. Scott Moore & Dr. Daniel Phan

Surrey Street Family Clinic is proud to be a teaching practice and we have 2 exceptional registrars dedicated to helping our community with all their healthcare needs.

Dr. Scott Moore has experience in a wide variety of disciplines including emergency medicine, intensive care, paediatrics, women’s health, plastic surgery, and orthopaedic surgery.
Scott also has a keen interest in preventative medicine, men’s health, and musculoskeletal and sports medicine. Scott has worked with the Essendon Football Club as one of the VFL team doctors since 2021.

Dr Daniel Phan joins us with experience in mental health, addiction medicine, women’s health, paediatrics and emergency medicine.
Daniel’s passion for preventative medicine, especially lifestyle modification for chronic disease, led him to completing additional study in public health. In addition, he has particular interests in paediatrics, mental health and aged care.

Surrey Street welcomes Dr. Kate Tran-Nguyen!

Dr. Kate Tran-Nguyen, originally from the UK, attained her medical degree at the University of Sheffield in 2011. She completed her residency in South Yorkshire and regional Queensland, before returning to the UK to undertake the General Practice program in Oxford.

Kate is passionate about various aspects of general practice including paediatrics, chronic disease management and lifestyle medicine, with a special interest in women’s health, sexual health and family planning.

In 2022, Kate and her husband relocated to the Mornington Peninsula with their two young children. Outside of work, Kate enjoys an active lifestyle through yoga, pilates, running and exploring the outdoors with her family and friends.

Did you know that to obtain cosmetic injections and dermal filler here in Australia a prescription from a doctor is required?
