I know you're done with being told to “just eat clean” or “meditate more.”

You’ve invested time, energy, and probably a fair bit of money into solutions that didn’t deliver. I get it, it’s exhausting. But here’s the thing: your body isn’t broken. It’s unique. And what works for someone else might not be what works for you.

When was the last time you took time out for yourself?

With life being so busy, it's important to take a break and recharge your batteries.

I haven't always done this for myself.

But this year I have prioritised taking time away from work and home.

This week we've been in Bundaberg in Queensland spending time with our family.

My batteries are recharged and even though it will be sad to say goodbye to the grandies, I'm looking forward to the rest of the year.

Stressed Out and Gaining Weight? It Might Not Be Your Fault…

If you’ve been eating well, moving your body, and still find your weight going up (especially around your belly), stress might be the hidden culprit.

We're not talking stress from an accident or trauma. It's the low-level stresses from a busy life, unending demands and never truly winding down and relaxing.

When you’re under stress, your body releases a hormone called cortisol. In small bursts, cortisol helps you respond to danger. But chronic stress keeps cortisol elevated and that’s when the problems start. 😩

Here’s what cortisol can do:
🔹 Increases cravings for sugar and carbs
🔹 Promotes fat storage, especially around the belly
🔹 Slows down your metabolism
🔹 Disrupts sleep (which further fuels weight gain)
