Flu Vaccinations are now available! 💉😷

Private flu vaccinations are $20 each.

The government will fund vaccinations for:
- Children aged 6 months to less than 5 years
- Pregnant women (at any stage of pregnancy)
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
- People aged 65 and over
- People with certain medical conditions that put them at increased risk of severe influenza and its complications

We’re pleased to let our patients know that our practice is now using Heidi, an AI medical scribe, to assist with clinical note-taking during consultations.

This helps our clinicians spend more time focusing on you and your care, rather than paperwork.

Heidi operates under strict privacy and security standards, and your confidentiality and personal health information remain fully protected. If you have any questions, please feel free to speak with our team.

If you prefer not to have Heidi on in the room, please let your practitioner know at the start of the consult.

We’re excited to announce that Dr Jeremy and Nurse Gabby are launching a Friday Acute Care Walk-In Service at Mortlake Family Medical Practice! 👨‍⚕️

No appointment needed - just drop in on Friday mornings if you can’t wait for the next appointment and need a check before the weekend.

🗓 Starting: Friday, 14th November 2025
🕘 When: Every Friday, 9:00am – 12:30pm (morning session only)
📍 Where: Mortlake Family Medical Practice
💳 Billing: 100% privately billed (no bulk billing available)

Dr Jeremy and Nurse Gabby can help with:
✅ Colds, coughs and minor infections
✅ Sprains, cuts and other small injuries
✅ Rashes or skin concerns

It’s the perfect option if you’re feeling unwell and need a quick opinion without waiting for an appointment.

Bulk billing will continue to be available Monday to Friday for the following eligible patients:
• Children aged 16 and under
• Pensioner Concession Card (PCC) holders
• DVA Gold/White Card holders (Veterans)
• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
• Health Care Card (HCC) holders
• Commonwealth Seniors Health Card (CSHC) holders
