Total Fire Ban Tomorrow.
⚠️🔥 EXTREME FIRE DANGER FOR SATURDAY
- PARTS OF SOUTH EAST, EASTERN

Very hot, dry and windy conditions will lead to extreme fire danger over the southeastern parts of NSW on Saturday. A cooler and gusty west to southwesterly change is expected through inland parts as well as a south to southeasterly change for coastal parts in the afternoon and evening. Isolated thunderstorms are possible with the additional risk of dry lightning.
These are dangerous fire conditions. People in the following Local Government Areas are advised to take action now;
🟧 Greater Sydney - The Hills; Blacktown; Blue Mountains; Burwood; Camden; Campbelltown; Canada Bay; Fairfield; Hawkesbury; Hornsby; Hunters Hill; Kogarah; Ku-ring-gai; Lane Cove; Liverpool; Mosman; North Sydney; Parramatta; Penrith; Randwick; Ryde; Strathfield; Sutherland; Sydney; Waverley; Willoughby; Woollahra; Bayside; Canterbury-Bankstown; Central Coast; Cumberland; Georges River; Inner West; Northern Beaches
🟧 Illawarra / Shoalhaven - Kiama; Shellharbour; Shoalhaven; Wingecarribee; Wollondilly; Wollongong
🟧 Southern Ranges - Goulburn Mulwaree; Upper Lachlan; Yass Valley; Queanbeyan-Palerang
🟧 The Australian Capital Territory
🟧 Southern Slopes - Cootamundra-Gundagai; Hilltops; Snowy Valleys
🟧 Monaro Alpine - Snowy Monaro
Check your bush fire plan and ensure that your property is fire ready. If a fire starts, take immediate action. If you and your property are not prepared to the highest level, go to a safer location well before the fire impacts. Reconsider travel through bush fire risk areas.
A Total Fire Ban will be in force for the Greater Sydney, Illawarra / Shoalhaven, Southern Ranges, ACT, Southern Slopes, Monaro Alpine, Far South Coast, Central Ranges and Greater Hunter districts from midnight.
