Today we recognise World Infant, Child & Adolescent Mental Health Day.
Every child deserves to grow up feeling safe, supported and understood. Mental health starts from the very beginning of life, and the way we care for our young people shapes their future.
Let’s keep building communities where children and families can access help early, feel culturally safe, and know they’re not alone.
Together, we can nurture strong, healthy futures.

If you or someone you care about needs support or guidance, the Medicare Mental Health National Line is available on 1800 595 212. You don’t have to navigate things alone.

Sometimes life looks good on paper — work, family, friends, keeping busy.
And yet, things can still feel heavy underneath.
Mental health doesn’t discriminate. You don’t have to be in crisis or have a “reason” that makes sense to others to reach out. If something doesn’t feel right, that’s enough.
Support isn’t just for when things fall apart — it’s for you too.
💚 Medicare Mental Health Centre Moruya is here with free, confidential support — no referral needed.

🌍 World Health Day – Caring for Mental Health Together

Today on World Health Day, we’re reminded that health is more than just our physical wellbeing — it includes our mental and emotional health too.
Good mental health helps us cope with life’s challenges, connect with others, and feel a sense of purpose and belonging. Just like physical health, it needs care, understanding, and support.
Let’s use today to:
Check in with ourselves and each other
Start or continue conversations about mental health
Reduce stigma by speaking openly and kindly
Remind our community that support is available and help‑seeking is a strength
Looking after mental health is a shared responsibility — in our families, workplaces, and communities. Small acts of care can make a big difference.
If today brings up anything for you or someone you know, please reach out - 1800 595 212.
💚 Because there is no health without mental health.

April Fools’ Day reminder — not every thought is a fact.

This April Fools’ Day, we’re not talking about pranks — but about the quiet thoughts our minds can create when things feel hard.

Thoughts can feel convincing, especially when we’re overwhelmed, stressed, or tired. It’s common for our minds to tell us things like “I should handle this on my own” or “If I’m struggling, I’m failing.”

These thoughts can sound true — but they’re not the whole story.
Not every thought is a fact. And support is always worth reaching for.

If any of these thoughts feel familiar, you’re not alone.

The truth is, support is available.

At Medicare Mental Health Centre Moruya, everyone is welcome.
No referral. No cost. Just support when you need it.
