Sarah Sells Her First Artwork!
Sometimes the best stories come from the most unexpected moments.
Recently, one of our team members accidentally called their client, Sarah. Realising the mistake, they hung up quickly—but Sarah had already seen the call and rang back right away. What started as a small mix-up turned into a heartwarming conversation neither of them expected.
Sarah was absolutely buzzing with excitement. The week before, we had helped arrange a support worker to take her to an art exhibition in Abbotsford. Sarah had several of her artworks featured for sale, advertised in the exhibition’s official booklet.
With pride in her voice, she shared some incredible news: she sold four pieces—three of them before she even arrived on the day!
“This is the first time I’ve ever sold anything,” Sarah said.
“I always thought my art wasn’t that great.”
Our team member responded:
“Don’t sell yourself short, Sarah. They look great—and obviously other people think so too, because they bought them!”
Sarah has kindly shared photos of the artworks that were sold, and we’re excited to include them alongside this story so you can see her incredible talent for yourself.
She still has four more pieces available, and we’re hopeful this is just the beginning of many more sales to come.
