Something special is coming to Gippsland 💙

We’re so excited to bring the community together for All Abilities in Action — a day filled with music, movement, creativity and connection.

This event is all about celebrating all abilities and creating a welcoming space where everyone can participate, express themselves and simply have fun together.

We can’t wait to share more in the coming weeks ✨

🧪🌋 Science Day fun with our Trafalgar group! 🌋🧪

On Monday, the group put on their scientist hats and got stuck into some fun experiments, including making a volcano and trying the classic Mentos in Coke challenge. 😄

Not every experiment went to plan, but that just made it even funnier, with plenty of laughs shared along the way. Sometimes the best part is the trying!

Our social support groups are all about having fun, trying new things, and spending time together in a supportive environment. 💛

Last Friday, the group spent the day making a delicious and hearty Minestrone soup using fresh vegetables and simple pantry staples. Easy, flavoursome, and perfect for a chilly day! 🥕🥔✨

🚗✨ A fantastic day with the Latrobe Valley Venturers! ✨🚗

Last week, the group enjoyed another wonderful visit from our friends at QuBah OFHR, who once again brought along their beautifully restored cars and even an Indian motorcycle for everyone to admire. 🏍️

A big thank you to Brian M for organising the day, and to Neil, Peter, Michael, Steve, Brian, and Ollie for sharing their amazing vehicles and stories with us. Ollie certainly made an entrance arriving on the Indian motorcycle! 😄

The group loved walking around the cars, chatting over lunch, and of course hearing Spud’s very detailed comments as we admired each vehicle along the way 🤣

A great day filled with community connection, conversation, and plenty of appreciation for classic cars. 💛

☀️🌸 Creative fun with the South Coasters! 🌸☀️

Last Friday, the Wonthaggi group got hands on making their very own colourful sun catchers using flowers and a homemade mixture. Everyone helped with the process, from mixing the ingredients to carefully placing the flowers into the moulds ready to dry. ✨

The activity sparked lots of curiosity and conversation, with the group already thinking of other fun and safe experiments to try next. Vinegar and baking soda might just be making an appearance on a future winter activity day! 🧪😄

A wonderful mix of creativity, teamwork, and learning together. 💛

We’re excited to welcome Linda Pink from L.V. Country Line Dancers V Country Line Dancers to lead our line dancing session on the day!

Linda is the 2023 Australian Line Dancer of the Year and brings years of experience creating fun and inclusive dance sessions for all abilities 💙

No partner needed, just come along, join in and enjoy the music!

☀️🌿 A beautiful day out for the South Coasters! 🌿☀️

Last Friday, the Wonthaggi group enjoyed an amazing lunch and a relaxing wander around the grounds at the State Coal Mine, with perfect weather making the day even better. 💛

There was something for everyone to enjoy. Jenny discovered a unique succulent she just had to take home, Sandra was impressed by the chicken coop, and Paul loved exploring the vegetable gardens and fruit trees.

Nicole even found the old outhouse… although she wasn’t quite brave enough to go inside! 😄

A lovely day filled with fresh air, laughs, good food, and great company.
