Activate your full spectrum of vitality through an invigorating slow flow, alignment based Vinyasa yoga practice with founder and qualified 200hr Yoga Teacher, Amelia Ross-McMahon. While operating her grass-roots yoga school and teaching out of various gyms, studios, sports clubs and universities, she studied Public Health Promotion and she worked as a community mental health worker with MIFWA, then moved into the community team at tech start up, WeWork, where she was a WISE ambassador for the Perth office. Since then she has started her own family and her focus and purpose is not on helping those around her with their health and lifestyle. She recharges by taking long coastal runs & ocean dips and spending quality time with her family & friends.

Happy Transformation Tuesday, team! This afternoon, we’re incorporating hip-openers and ITB stretching into our pre-workout stretching routine. Deep runners lunge & revolved triangle (pictured below) are great asanas to prepare the hips for a run or jog - or to assist with any type of mobility before a workout. Remember to listen to your body and ease into the stretch to a point that feels good for you to avoid doing any damage to the body.

Happy yogis! We’re excited to announce that we’ve got some awesome mindfulness and yoga workshops coming up with Club Shakas (the women’s only surf club, for chicks who can’t surf 🤩🌊) again in October. Keep an eye on Club Shakas Communities WA for free community surfs and Club Shakas for surf retreats.
