I am trialing a new therapeutic compound to determine its function as a free-radical scavenger, anti-viral, and immune booster.
Below excerpts froma 2 research abstracts gives some interesting information on the potential of C-60:

C60 carboxyfullerene is a novel buckminsterfullerene-derived compound that behaves as a free-radical scavenger. In the present report, we investigated whether this drug exerts a protective activity against oxidative stress-induced apoptosis. Human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) were challenged by 2-deoxy-d-ribose (dRib) or TNF-α plus cycloheximide as agents that trigger apoptosis by interfering with the redox status of cell and mitochondrial membrane potential. We found that carboxyfullerene was able to protect quiescent PBMCs …
•Biomedical potential of the reactive oxygen species generation quenching by Fullerene C-60.

Fullerene (C60), a third carbon allotrope, is a classical engineered material with the potential application in biomedicine. One of the biologically most relevant features of C60 is the ability to quench various free radicals, behaving as a “free radical sponge”.
Conversely, photosensitization of C60 leads to its transition to a long-lived triplet excited state and the subsequent energy or electron transfer to molecular oxygen, yielding highly reactive singlet oxygen (1O2) or superoxide anion (O2−), respectively. These reactive oxygen species (ROS) react with …
* C-60 can be a potent anticancer and microbial through photosensitization. This may be a non toxic way of trestment.*
This formula is in a liquid form and tasteless.
Dark Field Microscopy of blood maybe a way to test its free radical scavenging function as oxidative stress affects red cell membrane charge, hemoglobin, and white blood cell activity.
If taking C-60 can transfom the oxidized cell membrane, hemoglobin, and white blood cell function or protect them from oxidation, it would be an excellent formula to use against EMR generated free radicals or environmental toxin initiated free radicals.
In the past and in daily practice, molecular oxygen and molecular hydrogen formulae has been shown to rapidly reverse oxidative stress as observed by dark field microscopy work on patient blood samples.
C-60 could be another valuable component of our wellness regime with similar and different functions and mechanisms of actions in reducing oxidative stress and enhancing health.
My interest is in testing its free radical scavenging effect not photosensitization to generate free radicals for treatment.
