Sue’s Home Care Nursing Service is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Endorsed Enrolled Nurse (EEN) to join our dedicated team as a Clinical & Scheduling Coordinator. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with the Scheduling and Clinical Support Managers to maintain optimal staff scheduling and provide clinical guidance and support to both our clients and care staff.

This casual position offers 36 hours per week and includes participation in the after-hours on-call roster.
Key Responsibilities

Scheduling & Coordination:
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date staff and client shift schedules.
- Manage emergency schedule changes swiftly and communicate updates clearly.
- Match staff qualifications, skills, and personalities to meet client needs.
- Record and update all shift schedules and staff assignments meticulously.

Clinical & Administrative Support:
- Conduct thorough client health assessments and develop tailored care plans.
- Provide clinical advice and guidance to staff and clients as required.
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and keeping precise staff records.
- Collaborate closely with the Operations Manager and the Scheduling/Clinical Management team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

After-Hours On-Call Duties
- Responding promptly to urgent client care needs or concerns.
- Addressing staffing issues, such as last-minute shift cancellations or replacements.
- Providing clinical guidance and decision-making support for care staff managing emergencies.
- Ensuring that all after-hours incidents and actions are documented and reported to the management team the following day.
- On-call duties are shared on a rotating basis with other team members to ensure a balanced workload.

After Hours On-Call Co-Ordinator - RN/EN Job Share Role, SYDNEY

Sue's Home Care is currently seeking a reliable and organised On-Call Coordinator to join our team. This role requires someone who has strong problem-solving skills, and is passionate about delivering exceptional client care.

Applicant must be a RN/EN or has been one in the past.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and respond to after-hours calls and emails from clients and employees.
* Coordinate and schedule last-minute shift replacements, ensuring all shifts are adequately covered.
* Provide support and guidance to support workers and clients during after-hours situations.
* Update and maintain accurate records in our scheduling and client management systems.
* Communicate effectively with clients and staff to address urgent needs promptly.

What We're Looking For:
* Someone who is or has been a RN/EN
* Experience in home care, aged care, or a similar coordination role (preferred).
* Strong organisational and time-management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to stay calm under pressure and make quick, effective decisions.
* Proficiency in using scheduling software or similar tools.
* Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays

Hours:
* Monday to Friday 0600-0900 and 1730-2200
* Weekends and Public Holidays 0600-2200

Job description
Sue's Home Care Nursing Service is seeking a Registered Nurse or someone who has been a RN to act as Scheduling and Clinical Support Manager. Applicant will be reporting to the Operations Manager, maintaining an up-to-date shift schedule, and providing clinical guidance & support.�

Duties & responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate shift schedules for staff and clients, including emergency adjustments, communicating any changes to relevant parties
* Match staff skills, personalities, and qualifications to client needs
* Document and update records of schedules, shifts, and worker assignments
* Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and maintaining staff records
* Develop and deliver training programs, hands-on mentorship, and support for skill enhancement
* Monitor and evaluate care team performance, conducting reviews and tracking key indicators
* Conduct comprehensive client health assessments and create personalised support plans
* Collaborate with Operations Manager for compliance and improvement initiatives
* Additional tasks as needed to ensure effective care delivery and operations

Experience & attributes:
* Minimum of 5 years' nursing experience
* Current or previous registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
* Experience with ShiftCare or similar scheduling software
* Proficiency in MS Office
* Experience in scheduling and education roles, preferably in healthcare home-care fields
* Excellent organisational, time-management & multitasking skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Strong, demonstrated problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
* Knowledge of applicable Aged Care & NDIS regulations and compliance requirements
* Adaptability to schedule changes and emergencies
