Today is World Asthma Day and we're highlighting the importance of knowing how to respond in an asthma emergency. 🫁 If you or someone you love has asthma, it's crucial to be prepared. Here are the key steps for asthma first aid*:

1️⃣ Sit the person upright and remain calm
2️⃣ Give 4 puffs of their reliever medication (using a spacer if possible)
3️⃣ Wait 4 minutes - If they don’t feel better, repeat the process
4️⃣ If they still don’t feel better, call 000 for immediate help

Asthma emergencies can happen quickly, but knowing what to do can save a life. 💙
