Moving forward, EHW will become a part of HCFH. From Feb 2024, all social posts and communications will be from HCFH.

I am beyond delighted to share that George has had the most spectacular recovery following his left eye removal back in December.

As handsome as ever, he is back with the herd and rebuffing PJ's suggestions that perhaps he (PJ) could step up into the role of herd leader!

to everyone who has contributed to Luna & George's GoFundMe. We are feeling the love & are so very grateful.

George has had a brilliant recovery and is back with the herd.

Luna is about 2 months into her long journey, starting to weight bear and being taken out for short periods of grass pick.

Luna is now self medicating on . 🌲

Bucc, an amazing stock horse i used to share life with, taught me of the medicinal properties of pine about 8yrs ago.🐎

I also love how Luna is choosing to hang in her stable despite having access out.💚

One of the herbs Luna is getting to help heal her suspensory injury is comfrey, which fortunately I grow a lot of.

I picked a large bunch, intending to hang it to dry and progressively add to her feeds. Luna had other plans! She pulled the whole lot off the cupboard and proceeded to eat every last scrap!

They say horses know what their bodies need ...
