Robyn Jarram is the principal and founder of Symbiotic Enterprising, a business writing consultancy based in Mossman for over 12 years. She has been delivering writing services to clients across Australia for over 17 years and has almost 25 years experience as a professional business writer. Her services include tender writing, grant writing, preparation of management and services plans, risk assessments, policy and procedure writing , technical specification writing, instructional manuals, staff profiles, resumes and much more.

Robyn’s clients range from small local businesses to multinationals across sectors as diverse as construction, facilities maintenance services (cleaning, pest control, waste management etc), education, asset maintenance, health, defence, corrections, hospitality, social services, mining, tourism and sport. Robyn is well-known in the Australian facilities management sector for her extensive work on the significant Defence Estate Maintenance and Operations Services (EMOS) tenders. She has written and coordinated some very notable tenders including a number of multi-billion dollar Public Private Partnership bids (PPPs) and facilities management bids ranging in value from $100k to $6 billion.

Locally, through Robyn’s tender writing work she has contributed to over $15 million of small business growth in the Douglas Shire in the past 5 years. This has included winning contracts for local businesses to provide services to the Douglas Shire Council, Cairns Council and Townsville City Council. Although her tender writing work is her core offering she also assists local community groups to obtain government funding. Her work in the grant writing space has resulted in over $2 million of government funding being distributed to not-for-profit community groups in the Douglas Shire.
